She went through her routine twice for good measure, running through the familiar practice with an engaging piano piece as her music. The CD player whirled into play, opening the track.

Maron sprung into her movements easily, twirling the crimson ribbon around, her actions graceful. She fell into effortless leaps, rotations and whirls. The sweat beading down her brow, the teenager spun around to throw the ribbon upwards once more, only to have the end yanked back downwards instead. The unexpected movement caused her to topple over onto the ground, losing all of her rhythm and landing directly into Chiaki's arms. The crimson red enveloped their forms binding them together.
