Just a small Jogan one shot written in 5 minutes. Hope you enjoy it! :)

Logan sat on his bed, face in his hands, tears streaming down his face. He couldn't believe it; he now officially had no remaining family left. His father had disappeared, all his other relatives had died and now the switch had just come down from his mum's life support. Logan stifled a sob as the door opened.

"Hey Logan, how are you buddy?"

Logan didn't bother answering James; it was pretty obvious how he was doing. A dent in the bed signalled James sitting next to him and he felt an arm wrap around his shoulders.

"You know, Kendall's mum said she'd adopt you though I think she's pretty much adopted all of us since we came here. You do realise we're all family don't you?"

Logan lifted his head from his hands. "But we're not blood related. I have no one left"

"Hey, being family is thicker than blood. Its right here" James pressed a hand on Logan's heart and he felt Logan lean into him. Ignoring the wet patch forming on his chest James ran his fingers through Logan's hair offering the little comfort he could.

What felt like hours later Logan released himself from James grasp and gave him a watery smile. "Thanks James"

James returned Logan's smile with one of his own. "Hey, that's what best friends are for right?"

Logan looked slightly put out at the words 'best friends' but recovered and said "yeah, friends"

The reaction didn't miss James and he looked at Logan curiously. "Unless you want to be more than that?"

Logan blushed and James chuckled and wrapped his arms round him. "I know I do" he whispered into Logan's ear.

Brown eyes met hazel and their lips met in a kiss full of love and care. It was the most wonderful experience for both of them, neither realising what they'd been missing out on all these years. Once apart Logan looked at James with a soft smile.

"James?"

"Yeah Logie?"

"I love you"

James grinned and hugged Logan tightly.

"And I love you too"
