This is my first FanFiction Story so i'm a little bit edgy about it.
The storyline came about sort of "intimate" so... I don't know how it's going to work out.
I have somwhat of the ending. I mean I know how it ends I just don't know the journey.
This story, well the experience is a bit... no it is personal. You'll se why. ;)
Renesmee POV
Over the years I had to see my mother suffer over loosing my dad, and how she isn't completely over him. I never quite understood their love. I was too young when he "bailed" on us therefore I only maintain a few "happy family" memories.
I remember that day very clearly, like that crony cliché: "Just like it was yesterday".
He walked through the narrow hallway with a bag, in it his clothes. I remember walking after him and yelling "Daddy don't leave!" but he didn't say a word to me. He opened the front door and with tears in his eyes he closed it, and didn't look back. Mom and I followed after him, but he didn't dare to look at me, all he did when I asked him "Daddy do you love me?" was cry.
I guess you could say that even after twelve years I am not completely over it. I haven't quite forgiven him, he caused me a lot of hate in me particularly towards him but mostly a lot of tears in my mothers eyes.
I remember night after night I'd see mom cry. I, only being three years old didn't fully grasp the sobriety of the situation. Now looking back I can't imagine how it must've hurt her.
She'd pull me close tears streaming down her cheeks and whisper so soft "It's going to be okay" against my hair. The words only scared me that much more.
She'd regularly take me to my grandpa's house, Charlie. I loved it there for some reason, he always had weird fun games to play; somehow always involving fish.
Two weeks after his "disappearance" dad called. I was in my room playing, well actually just making a mess of my stuffed animals when my mom called me into the kitchen. She quickly handed me the phone and turned away, walking to the living room. I didn't notice much of it, then.
"Baby?"
"Daddyy!"
"Hey sweetie, what's going on?"
"Nothing just playing in my room."
"That's… that's fine sweetie. How've your last few days been? Having fun?"
"YEA! Aunt Alice came over yesterday. We played with my bears a while. Oh and we made a little house in the living room with the couches. Mommy got mad because we made a mess but Aunt Alice said to just ignore her and keep on playing."
"Sounds like you're having a great time baby."
"Daddy, when are you coming home?"
"…."
"Daddy… Daddy.."
"Not right now okay honey. I've got some things to do. I'll see you soon okay? I promise. I have to go. I love you.
"Love you too!"
Click
"Bye daddy"
He'd promised to see me soon and dad never broke my promises.
