If he was straight, he wouldn't be doing this right now. Oh god he going to. He's so close. I can't breath. BREATH CHRIS BREATH!

He's leaning in more. God what is he doing! This is a red carpet! EVERYONE IS WATCHING! I wanted to scream so bad, but I was lost in this beautiful moment.

Woah. Woah. Woah. Wait, let's back it up a few hours!

"Hey Chris?" I heard Darren, my best friend and co-star say to me, as we sipped our coffee and watched the morning news.

"Yeah?" I ask, looking up into those stunning brown eyes.

"You know how I have that red carpet thing tonight? For my Broadway showing." He asked. I nodded, but stayed quiet, waiting for him to finish. "Well, I was wondering if you wanted to be my date.. Er.. Guest!"

I was a little shocked that he called it a date a first, but then let it slide. "Yeah sure Darren!" I said smiling up at him. His busy brown hair, his full pink lips. He was an angel.

After a few more hours of the news, we got up to get ready for the eventful day ahead. Darren, being the first to get ready, grabbed our 'To-Do-List' and started reading it off for me.

"First, lunch. Second, red carpet. Third the show. Wow I thought there was more going on." He said setting the list down and leaning against the doorway as I began to change.

"Thank you Darren, for the privacy." I said when I noticed him scanning his eyes over my body. What was up with him today?

"Oh uh, yeah, sorry, I'll go wait in the livingroom." He said stumbling in the hall. I shook my head and laughed it off, knowing he was probably just nervous for the day ahead.

After I finished getting ready, we got into Darren's car and drove to a quiet part of town and found a small cafe.

We sat down at a table in the corner of the cafe, and it seemed that we were normal people. No one noticed us, at all.

The waitress took our order, and while we waited we talked about how nice this is, being unnoticed. Oh spoke to soon.

"D-D-Darren C-Criss? C-C-Chris C-Colfer?" A young girl around the age of twelve came up to us studdering, which quikly vanished. "You two are on a date huh?" She asked, smug, then stepped back and took a picture of us together then ran out the door.

"Oh great, more for the 'CrissColfer' fandom to imagine." I sighed as our food arrived.

We got in the car and drove for a little while until we reached the red carpet. Pulling around back to the V.I.P parking lot, we go out and walked to where Darren had to sign in.

After all the beggining stuff was over, we walked onto the red carpet. Cameras flashed, fans screaming, interviewers mumbling questions. Ugh it was overwhelming but joyful.

That's when everything changed. Darren spun me towards him, put his hand on my cheek, and started to lean towards me.

I felt myself start to lean in as well. What was I doing? Everything washed away as soon as our lips met. Fireworks. I thought that was just cheesy romantic crap, but there really was fireworks.

I knew right then and there, that I loved him. Darren. My bestfriend. And I knew this moment couldn't be more perfect.

When Darren pulled away, I had to ask. "What was that for?"

He looked at me with those eyes, and smiled. "One, for our sweet fans, two, because I love you.
