Summary: After getting hit with one of Zexion's ilusions, Demyx finds out his Other had split personalities.

Disclaimer: I don't own Kingdom Hearts.

"He's still having nightmares, but other than that, there's nothing unusual about it," Zexion told Vexen, as the younger nobody checked a comatose Demyx's brain activity, something that had already become a routine to the two scientists.

"What never ceases to surprise me is that IX has a perfectly working brain," said Vexen, disdainfully. Zexion couldn't help but smirk at Vexen's comment.

That recon mission, the cloaked schemer thought, had to be one of the biggest fiascos in the history of Organization XIII. And of course, the unconscious nobody was to blame.

It seemed simple enough, but then he and Demyx got separated from Lexaeus. A heartless attacked them and Zexion use his powers to defend himself. But the illusion hit Demyx, and was strong enough cause long lasting damage.

Lexaeus easily baited the two nobodies out. The larger Nobody spent hours apologizing for failing to protect him. If Zexion had a heart, he would have regret making Lexaeus worry like that. Then it occurred Zexion his friend didn't have a heart, either.

Demyx started to move. He moaned something in a voice that wasn't his, and moved his hands as if he were trying to grasp for something.

"It looks like this sleeping beauty will awaken anytime soon," noted Vexen, shortly after the nocturne started to slowly open his eyes.

Normally, comatose people awakened gradually, but Demyx was a Nobody and not many people fell into comas after getting hit by illusion magic.

Nothing could have prepared Zexion and Vexen for what happened next: as Demyx opened his eyes, he literally began to turn into a completely different person.

In front of them, instead of the nocturne, was a long haired boy around Zexion's age. He blinked a couple of times, and tried to grasp for something again.

"This place seems to be a hospital," he said, probably to himself. Zexion could see from where he was coming from: white walls, white beds, medical equipment everywhere.

Vexen was curious. He had a few theories on what could have happened, most involving the manipulation of memories. IX had been to the infirmary a couple of times, so it was obvious he and the boy had separate memories.

The boy placed his left hand in his chest, "Nothing," he muttered.

"You may be a Nobody," informed Vexen. If he had a heart, it would have been filled with excitement. The Chilly Academic was about to give him a brief explanation on Nobodies, when the boy nodded.

"I know what we are," said the boy, who then muttered, "Allen,"

That was probably his name, Vexen and Zexion thought.

What interesting specimens Allen and Demyx were.
