Darkness is his world, the daylight is hers.

Darkness.
His world.
A creature of the night
Yearning for day,
Too frightened to leave
The comforting shadows.

Light.
Her world.
A daylight child
Learning of the night,
Treading hesitantly into
The mysterious shadows.

Shadows.
Links between the worlds.
Night-creature and day-child
Begin to sing and love,
Meeting each other within
The silent shadows.
