Reply to his Letter Home
Spoiler warning: You better have seen the December 2011 FMA calendar and have read S J Smith's story, 3Some Chapter 53 to understand this story – ah er – letter.
Edward,
I read your letter a bit late. Can you blame me that I was scared to death the instant I saw that picture with the, what you call it - shark? And you stood beside it too, with a huge grin on your face. That's an extra scare factor.
Though you really fit in the picture. You look tiny enough to act as a bait for that huge fish.
I bet by the time you're reading this you're thinking about sending or calling back a smartass comment against what I wrote here. I'll be waiting for that.
Kidding aside, I know it was hard for you guys to deal with a fish that big. I can imagine how heavy that must weigh. And that thing about its teeth? That's pretty interesting.
I believe you really enjoyed that extraordinary fishing trip. And yes, it's too bad that I wasn't there with you and get a taste of that shark. I hope you thought of me while you were eating what was supposed to be my share.
I really appreciate your effort in trying to keep in touch with me. At least you won't have me worried sick about you all the time.
Keep safe.
With lots of love,
Winry
Author's notes: Special thanks to S J Smith for allowing me to write this and for doing my request for another story.
Happy New Year everyone! :)
