Chapter 1
Piper P.O.V
I was at camp for the summer. The war had just ended. It was almost time for the campfire. All the time, there was the thought of only one person in my mind. You might think Jason, but let me tell you, it was not him. In fact I don't have a crush on Jason now. No it was a certain Hephaestus boy who's attention I was craving for. The campfire started, but I wasn't there. I was taking a walk by the woods to think on what I would say to Leo about my feelings for him.
Leo P.O.V
The campfire started. I looked around for piper, but she wasn't there. She was walking by the woods. Nobody noticed her except me. Yes, I was in love with Piper Mclean. I had to tell her. Now. So I went over to her, my heart beating fast.
Piper P.O.V
Leo came towards me. My heart was thundering. I wondered if he could hear it too. "Hey doin here?" I smiled at him. "Uh…. Piper, I want to talk to you." he said, a bit nervously. "Yeah…. Me too" I said. "Ummmm… piper do you like me? I mean like more than a friend?" he asked.
"I blushed scarlet and said "Yes Leo. I do. I love you." He held my chin up and put his arms around my waist. "Really?" he softly said. "Yes" I breathed.
Leo P.O.V
When piper said those three words I felt like doing a victory dance. Yes! She loved me!
I said "really?" and put my arms around her waist. She answered "yes" I said "I love you too, piper" and kissed her.
Piper P.O.V
Leo kissed me. It was awesome. I melted in his arms. We pulled backed, panting for breath, linking our foreheads. Yes I had finally found the love of my life. Leo Valdez. He was a part of me; I was a part of him. And will always be.
