Mandy's POV
"I wonder when he'll be back..." It was the night before christmas...Kellyn was supposed to be back weeks ago. Hastings had told me that he'd be back by today at latest but...what if he didnt make it in time...its been months. He missed my 16th birthday too. "He'll be back soon" my niece Nya chimed out while handing me a Ornament in the shape of a Zorua. I couldnt help but smiling as I put it next to the Ornament of a Pachirisu on the tree " I hope so Nya...I mean its already 9pm...what if he-" "Don't even think for a second that he wont. Hastings said it himself. He'll be back tonight." "yeah...you're right" I replied with a smirk on my face. "when am I not?" she mocked. wow...I have a smart alick 14 year old niece. "Dunno" I replied and threw a freshly made piece of cake at her "hey! Ohhh you want a battle? WELL YOU GOT WARRRRRR!" she started throwing some at me and before I knew it we were having a full out food fight. After about ten minutes I called out "Nya. Maybe we should give it a rest adn clean up. If he does come back tonight he'd be in for a surprise seeing this." she looked around and burst out laughing " yeah maybe we should" we started cleaning the mess while playing some of our favorite christmas songs and once we finished I walked to my bedroom and took out a glass ornament my brother Ben; Nyas father gave me a while back. I set it on the tree carefully and heard a small Gasp from Nya. "does that say..." she trailed off" "Ben? yeah...he gave it to me a while ago. I only put it on the tree on Christmas eve though because i dont want something to happen to it. "she pulled out Bens styler from her pocket "I miss him..." she looked at me with tear filled eyes. "its alright Hon. we all do" I whispered those words as I hugged her. There was a knock at the door and three people walked in; Spencer, Nyas mum Jenny and...Kellyn! "sorry I'm late Mandy..." he looked down guiltily. Nya looked up at me and winked showing she'd be fine. I then ran and pulled Kellyn into a tight hug."arceus Kellyn...I missed you so much...what happened? Why were you so late? Are you alright?" I looked at him concerned. "Mandy...I'm fine. I got held back by RedEyes...I'm sorry...I missed your sweet 16..." I cant believe he was upset about THAT. "oh Kellyn...its alright. I dont mind. I'm just glad you're here!" he smiled seeing I was back to my happy-go-lucky self. "I got you something." he handed me a small box. "go ahead open it!" he urged. I opened it carefully and inside was a pair of Amethyst earrings. "kellyn...thank you!" I hugged him tightly and put them on. he smiled "I'm glad you like them. "like them? I LOVE them. and I love you" I planted a quick kiss on his lips and gave him another hug. This was going to be the best christmas ever!
