"I can't believe I'm walking to school without Kyoko..."

"At least they accepted us back, it could be worse."

"You're right. Still, I find it hard to believe that we will need to catch up two whole years!"

Grabbing her hair out of desperation, Kaname and Sousuke make their way to Jindai High, again. After an entire year filled with tourbolent events, the newly formed couple has to catch up in their studies, this time without the fear of any terroristic attacks or kidnapping. Of course, that doesn't mean that their school days will stay calm.

Hand in hand, their faces have some pretty surprising expressions. Blushing cheeks, stiff arms and, of course, some very awkward expressions. People give them some amused expressions, everyone surprised that the indomable Kaname finally found her partner, and that the special one will be of all people that military freak named Sousuke Sagara. But everything is not for the worse, in fact the things are looking very bright for everyone: the couple is madly in love and the civilians can continue their peaceful lives.

Soon enough they arrive in front of the main gates, filled as always with students, old and new, ready as ever to start the new school year. In the middle of the mass of people, Miss Kagurazaka(?) stands tall, checking everyone's bags and commenting from time to time the most peculiar belongings. After a good five minutes of waiting, Kaname and Sousuke are in front of the teacher, which suddenly beams at the sight of the duo.

"It is so good to see you, Miss Chidory and Mr. Sagara. I hope this year will be very successful for you two!"

"Yeah... it surely can't get any worse, right?", Kaname says with a tone of weariness in her voice.

"Oh, for sure. I also must say that you two look adorable together," she says with a small smirk, causing their cheeks to assume a deep crimson.

"Thanks, Miss Kagurazaka."

"Now, let me see if you have anything of note, expecially you Sagara," the teacher shoots arrows at the ex Mithril mercenary, searching his bag but not finding any guns. Of course, noticing this the teacher's face becomes the definition of a shocked expression.

"Sa-Sagara, no dangerous weaponry? What happened? What did you do, Kaname?!"

"Well... let's say yesterday, after what happened in front of the school, we had a discussion," Chidori says, looking at her boyfriend with an amused yet loving expression. She giggles when she notices the awkward position that her soulmate is in.

"Well, I'm glad. Now, I wish you good luck with your first day at school!"

"Thanks," say the two of them, only to enter in the main building.

"No weapons, huh? Uruz-7, you surprise me. It looks like that this year won't be as fun as I expec-"

The sentence gets interrupted by a loud sneeze.

"I don't get paid enough for this..."
