Hi everyone. This story is set just after the end of Blood of Olympus. Yes, I know that it is SUPER, SUPER short, probably my shortest yet. But, I hope you will still enjoy it anyway...

Disclaimer: I do not own PJO.

They day after the Romans arrived back at Camp Jupiter after the Second Giant War, Rachel sat on her new bunk in the fifth cohort barracks, trying and failing to draw Festus while she waited for the legionaries of the fifth to come back from a meeting.

Frank and Reyna had said that training was to start the day after tomorrow, to give everyone a chance to settle back in. However, that did not mean that they had a chance to relax, as there was lots of information that the New Romans needed to hear, and that was the purpose of this meeting. Rachel and Ella did not have to attend the meeting though, as they weren't normally in New Rome.

Ella the harpy fluttered around the barracks while Rachel drew, muttering facts about art until Rachel suggested she go visit the public library. About half an hour later, a horde of teenage girls flooded through the doors, chatting, gossiping, complaining about the length of the meeting. Hazel came and sat down next to Rachel.

Rachel didn't really know much about Hazel, apart from that she was the daughter of Pluto, she could control the mist, she was one of the seven, and that they both loved art.

"Hey, that looks great!" Hazel said as she pointed to Rachel's drawing.

"Oh, thanks, I just can't get him to look shiny enough," Rachel answered.

"Pass me the pencil, then," Hazel grinned. "I'll show you a new trick I've been working on. I've been experimenting with combining my powers with my control of the mist."

Rachel obediently passed Hazel the pencil she had been using.

Hazel gripped the pencil tightly, and the yellow centre shimmered and turned gold. "Try it out."

Hazel returned her pencil and Rachel tried to colour in her sketch of Festus again. The girl's green eyes widened in amazement when the paper looked like real gold where the pencil touched it. "Wow. That's so cool! Thanks, Hazel," Rachel grinned, but then the smile disappeared from her face. "Leo would love this picture, if he was around to see it."

"He will see it," Hazel said, wiping a tear from her eye. "I know Nico said he was… d-dead, but he told me that his death felt different, he just didn't tell the others so he didn't get there hopes up. If – no, whenwhen Leo returns, we can show him this picture."

"In that case, can you turn this one into a topaz," said Rachel, smiling again, and holding up an orange pencil. "We need to add him in the picture, with his head on fire."

The End. (Told you it was really short.) Please review if you have the time :)
