A/N: I heart Neville! He's the hero in each story:) He deserves a tribute! Review!

WARNING: Contains diolague and sequences from the books AND the movies:)

Neville ran up the steps.

"Has anyone seen a toad? A boy named Neville's lost one."

He spotted Nagini, threatening Ron and Hermione.

"Longbottom, Neville!" "GRYFFENDOR!"

Ron and Hermione cringed back, and Neville ran in front of them.

"You're sneaking out again, aren't you? You'll get Gryffendor into trouble again. I won't let you. I-I'll fight you!"

Neville saw the hate within the snake's eyes, and knew that it had to be destroyed.

"It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to your enemies. But a great deal more to stand up to your friends."

It seemed as though the snake was laughing at him, taunting him...much as Bellatrix had when he'd said his name was 'Longbottom'.

"I don't know about turnips. But you could always use Gilliwig."

Neville raised the Sword of Gryffendor into the air.

"Do you think that Longbottom - the Brainless Wonder - could have provided you with Gilliwig if I hadn't provided him with the book that led him straight to it?"

There was a flash of terror in the snake's eyes.

Neville waved his wand through the air. "Stupify!" he shouted, knocking his opponent into the nearby wall. He filled with pride.

The blade of the sword sliced through the air.

"Dumbledore's Army!"

And then - the Seventh Hoarcrux was dead.

"I'm quite proud to be their son."

Neville felt something within him strengthen - there was no fear or loss or pain.

Neville returned with Ariana through the portrait, and led the Three Heroes to the Room of Requirement.

And somewhere, Neville's parents smiled at him.

Neville stood up to Voldemort, and felt more sure of himself than he ever had before.

Neville smiled, and ran to see what else he could do to help.

Neville Longbottom felt through the hat. The Sword of Gryffendor! Well, Harry had said to kill the snake...

No flames if some of the facts or lines were wrong! And don't get upset if there was more movie than book - I actually read all of the books and ADORED them:) I just wanted to write this tribute for you to enjoy, and I don't have any of the books next to me at the present time. My apologies! But please review and no flames:)
