Jakkob's Hair Salon
Stylist Chair
Saturday, November 1st
3:00pm
Massie block side glanced at her hair in the mirror. She had gotten her purple streak redone. It was glossier and darker than before.
"Are you done yet? I was sah-post to be at Marc Jacobs an hour ago." Massie barked, she applied a fresh coat of Burt bees peppermint lip balm on her pink lips.
"There Massie, you're done," Jakkob retorted. Massie stood up from the black chair, and glided to the counter. She lazily dropped her Master Card and waited for the cashier to ring it up. She didn't mind being late, but she had promised her mom that she would be home by 5:00. Kendra was throwing her annual charity event, and Massie knew it would be off with her head if she was fashionably late. Derrington and Dempsey would be there giving Massie the ultimate opportunity to show Derrick how fabulous life has been since he left her.
If she wanted to pull all of this off she had to be dressed in some thing gorgeous. Not some last season wrap dress in her closet.
"Here you go Miss Block," the receptionist pulled Massie out of her thoughts. This was her time to shine, and witty comebacks just wouldn't cut it.
