AN: this is a Rogan story the first of a series I think.
You can't leave me again!' I shouted at Logan who was getting everything ready to speed of on that stupid stolen bike into the night. Leaving every thing and every on behind. Leaving me.
'I'll come back.' Not meeting my eyes he promised. Now that I had control over my gift I thought my life would be perfect. I was so wrong.
'Yeah in how many years!' I scoffed.
'I promise one day I'll come back for you and take you far away from this place.'
'It feels like your running from me.'
'Listen kid I'm sorry.' He stated finally making eye contact.
'Then don't leave me again!'
'Kid it's for your own good. I'm not gonna hurt you or anyone else again.'
'I'm not a kid anymore! How would you know what's best for me?!' I demanded. 'All you know about is leaving! It's what your good at!'
'I'm trying to protect you Marie!'
'From what?! What do I have to be afraid of?!'
'I've just gotta go.' Logan replied his voice evening out again. Gathering me into his arms.
'Then take me with you.' I pleaded.
'I can't. It's not safe. Your safe here.' He said into my hair.
'Then go!' I broke away and my voice rose again. 'All you ever to us leave! So just go!'
'Marie,'
'No! Go! But I'm tired of waiting for you! Don't bother coming back for these damn tags!' I pulled them over my head and threw them at him. 'Take them with you! Cause I won't being waiting here for you either! You leave I'm moving on!'
He growled at her dropping the tags to the ground. I could feel my eyes fill with tears, 'you don't know what it's like to love some one like you.' In the blink of an eye he was in front of her his arms around her.
'I never came back for the tags. And I don't like leaving you. I truly love you.'
'Then don't leave.'
'Darlin I have to. You can't cage an animal.' He stated, 'you still want to come with me?'
'Of course I do.'
'Go grab what you need I'll be back to pick you up at seven we leave after breakfast.' Picking up the dog tags from the floor he put them around my neck were they belonged.
Getting on his stolen bike I stood and watched as he speed off into the night. Not a single tear fell, because I knew the next time that bike sped off I would be on it too.
