Natsu Dragneel was the person that everyone wanted to be. He possessed money, status, women, and looks. At the top of his class Natsu was idolized and praised by his fellow classmates and teachers, always achieving greatness and fame wherever he went. Of course not only was he the smartest in school but also the most popular. People flocked to him like he was a god, attending to his every need and desperately trying to gain his approval. Nobody could ever rival the great Natsu Dragneel, son of the esteemed CEO of Dragneel Enterprise. High expectations were pushed upon the talented young man, but he never was one to disappoint. At the early age of 12, he had already surpassed all of his home tutors and was forced to study overseas.
After 5 years, Natsu returned home, ready to join his father and work in the family business but there was one thing that Natsu was lacking in before being able to work. That was the ability of socializing with other people; a business man must have excellent social skills so that they are able to strike deals easily and smooth talk there way through anything. So Igneel sent his only son to highschool so that he would gain experience in the field of socializing. Of course though it was not just any highschool, it was the great Fairy Tail High, school of the rich and famous. Natsu fit in well with all of the students and quickly rose in the social hierarchy of the school, becoming the King of the school.
After only a few months Natsu formed himself a group of the smartest, richest, and most elite of the students in Fairy Tail to rule the school with. His right hand man, Gray Fullbuster, was easily one of the most popular boys in the school, especially with the girls. Gray not only had looks but was the son of Silver Fullbuster, the owner of a branch of five star hotels. Next came Jellal Fernandez, the smartest student in the school after Natsu. He already ran 4 main buisness companies while attending highschool, not a easy task. After Jellal, there was Erza, daughter of the women who created the great Scarlet clothing line. Popular with the boys, Erza had beauty, style, and grace, landing her a spot in the group. Lastly the Strauss siblings, of course at first Natsu only wanted the eldest daughter but she would not join if her siblings would not be invited, so unfortunately he gained two unwanted members. The oldest daughter of the Strauss family Mirajane was undoubtedly the most beautiful girl in the school and also nice enough to add some charity to the group. Her younger siblings Lisanna and Elfman were both annoying and crybabies but Natsu had to endure it if he wanted Mira.
With his group of elites nothing stood in Natsu Dragneels way, he would show his father how stupid he was for sending him to high school. Well at least for a good 6 months nothing stood in Natsu's way, but everything changed the day when the students came back from Christmas Break...
Natsu POV
Ugh, being back in this ugly ass school makes me want to jump off a cliff. With all these fake people smiling and waving at each other asking about their holiday break just to brag about who's was better. Disgusting.
"Hey, Natsu! Nice to see you man." Someone called out from besides their locker.
"Hello!" I said smiling and waving as I walked through the hallway of Fairy Tail High.
Everyone was trying to greet me and talk to me as I sauntered down the hallway crowded with idiots who thought that I actually gave a damn about them, hah don't make me laugh. The only reason they were nice to me was because of my popularity and status, they weren't really happy to see me. I felt my smile turn down into a scowl.
"Woah there grumpy, don't let everyone see your true self, that wouldn't be good." A voice whispered besides me into my ear as they wrapped their arm around mine.
"Mirajane, always a pleasure," I seethed through my teeth.
She gave me a bright smile but I recognized it as her famous 'you make a scene and you won't see tomorrow' look. I could feel the adoring stares of the students watching us walk through the hallways and I smirked. It was way to easy to make myself their King, they were all just so foolish. Soon enough I will be out of here and working alongside my father ordering people around, having a bombshell assistant, and making enough money to get me whatever I wanted. That is what I live for.
"Natsu we are here." Mirajane called me back to reality.
"Mhmm," I murmured still slightly in my dreamland.
We walked into the huge classroom with lavish seating, refreshments, and snacks. Most people would never have guessed that this was a classroom because of what it appears as but this is what people of high status like me are accustomed to, anything less would be a disgrace. When I walked in the students that had already arrived to class all rushed up to me and greeted me. God am I good at acting. These scum really do think that I give a damn about them and their well being. I just wished that Gray was in my homeroom, it would make being fake nice ten times easier.
"Oh Natsu there you are, I've missed you sooo much."
I turned around and watched Angel saunter up to me and put her arms around me neck. The slut had the nerve to touch me, she was unworthy. She only got into Fairy Tail on a scholarship, plus she was uglier then my dogs asshole. A face caked with makeup looked up at me seductively and fluttered her fake eyelashes at me.
"Hey babe." I rasped into her ear. Eww.
She giggled and then pulled me over to our seats in the back of the room. After pushing me down into my chair she sat right across my lap. I wanted to comment on how she had obviously gained weight but I had to refrain from being rude because even one slip up could cause me to lose my position as the schools King. The bell rang signaling time for announcements and homeroom to start. Our teacher, Mr. Conbolt, rushed into the room with a stupid grin plastered unto his face. It took all my willpower to not rush up and smack that look off.
"Class welcome back! I bet you are all as happy to be back here as I am! We are going to get things started today by introducing a new student who has transferred here from Sabertooth High."
People started looking around and murmuring. Sabertooth High is Fairy Tails rival in most about everything, from sports and academics to who can throw the best party. So a transfer student from Saber was a big deal. Of course I was really not interested in this new student was, they would just turn into another one of my followers eventually. The whispering of the students made its way to my ears.
"I hope its a hot chick!"
"No way, its going to be a hot guy."
"If they're from saber they could be super snobby."
"Lucy you can come in now!" The old man called out into the hallway.
Mouths dropped as a pair of long slender legs made there way into the classroom and stopped in the front. My eyes took in the girl who had just appeared. Long blonde hair that stopped in the middle of her back, perfect clear skin that had a tint of a blush on her cheeks, pink soft lips that looked so kissable, a rocking body complete with amazing curves, and warm brown eyes that sparkled as she smiled at us.
"Hello everyone, my name is Lucy and I hope that I can get along with all of you. Please take care of me!" She said before giving a small bow.
The class erupted as they called out to Lucy and asked her questions while others leaned over to their friends and whispered things. Boys were smiling up at her and asking her to sit by them while the girls were giving her cold looks that could freeze an entire nation.
"Hmm, she isn't that pretty." Angel pouted.
I barely even heard Angel because I was to deep in thought. Where had I seen her before? She looked so familiar to me but I just couldn't put my finger on where I had meet her.
"Quiet down everyone! You can all ask your questions just one at a time, just raise your hands." Mr. Conbolt yelled over the loud group of students.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" A guy asked after being called on.
"Haha no, I just broke up with him before coming here." She answered as her cheeks heated up.
"Why did you leave Sabertooth?" The next person asked.
"My family and I decided that it was time for some change and after hearing all the great things about Fairy Tail, I just had to come here." Lucy answered smoothly
The next few questions I didn't hear because of being lost in thought. She is answering these questions way to calmly, there is obviously something that she is hiding.
"What is your last name?" I asked without being called on. The room grew quiet as Lucy's eyes widened and stared into mine as she awkwardly shifted her weight.
"Heartfilia, Lucy Heartfilia." She responded softly.
The room again erupted at the shock of learning who Lucy really was. I just sat there and smirked up at her as she continued to stare into my eyes. Honestly I was a little bit surprised to, I knew that she had to be someone from a rich well known family but the Heartfilias... damn. The Heartfilias are the the richest business in the nation, well second to us, Dragneel Enterprise. We have been rivals since the companies both appeared in the world, but the Heartfilia's are always one step behind us, it really is amusing. That look of her's really made my mood ten times better then it was this morning. Who knew that I would be gaining a new toy today. Her frown deepened as my smirk grew bigger.
"Please students stop this noise, I will get into trouble with the principle again and Lucy you can go and sit in the seat right in front of Mr. Dragneel." Mr. Conbolt whined as he pointed to the seat in front of mine.
"Dragneel..?" She whispered in horror as she looked from the open desk to me.
I raised my hand and wiggled my fingers at her as her eyes widened in realization of who I was hit her. She quickly averted her eyes from mine and sat down in her desk trying to make conversation with the people next to her. I couldn't let her forget about me that easily though, as she talked to the others I continuously tugged at her hair and the more she ignored me the harder I pulled.
"Come on Natsu, lets go, I'm bored." Angel complained.
"Then go." I said pushing her off me, not taking my eyes off of Lucy.
Angel frowned then stomped off and out of the classroom. I would have probably been worried about my reputation of being a nice guy if I wasn't so fascinated in teasing Lucy. The tugging turned to pulling and Lucy finally swung around to face me.
"What is your problem?" She huffed.
"Problem?" I asked feigning innocence.
"Oh give up the act, I know that you were pulling my hair."
"And why would I ever do that?" I asked again.
"Because of who I am." She responded.
"Who might that be?" This was really turning into something fun.
"A Heartfilia." She seethed.
"Ah yes that." I smiled.
"Just stop it, I'm not here to plot against you or anything so just leave me alone."
"You see, I'm afraid I can't do that."
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"Because you are my new toy."
At this point people were starting to look at us and trying to listen in our conversation. I couldn't have that though, you know, image and everything. I stood up suddenly and grabbed her wrist and yanked her to her feet.
"What do you think you are doing!" She cried out trying to pull her wrist away from me.
"I'm so sorry everyone, but Ms. Heartfilia and I need to have a quick chat."
I pulled her with me through the hallways and then pushed her into one of the janitors closets, making sure to lock the door after closing it.
"What the hell are you doing!" She yelled into my face.
This girl was really asking for it, yelling rudely at me. When she learned who I was she should have praised me but instead she had the guts to disrespect me. Interesting. She started for the door but I quickly intervened and pushed her against a wall. She asked for it.
Lucy POV
This morning I had looked forward to starting fresh in a new school. Fairy Tail. My dream school that I had wanted to attend ever since my mother mentioned it when I was younger. Now that she had passed, I knew that it was time to finally gather the courage and ask my father. Let me tell you it took me ages to convince father. He had it ingrained in his mind that I was to attend Sabertooth High because it was known as the best business school in the nation and a son of one of his colleagues attended there. Finally though convinced him after endless days and nights of begging and I'm here. All the stories that my mother told me about all of the fun memories she had in this school excited me and I couldn't wait to see what kind of people attended Fairy Tail now. Never in million years could I have imagined this.
His body slammed mine into the wall and he put his arms on either side of me. The look in his eyes guaranteed certain trouble and his hot breath tickled my neck. He was close, to close. I could feel the heat radiating off of his body and his toned muscles underneath his school uniform.
"What? Nothing to say now?" He taunted.
I looked straight into his eyes. If I backed down now, he would win, and I wasn't about to let that happen.
"You think that just because your company is a little bit better then ours I have to worship the ground that you walk on and suck up to you. Or just because you are good looking and wealthy girls have to fall at your feet. News flash, I'm not that shallow."
Anger flashed in his eyes and I started to regret what I had just said. His body pushed into me even more and his face grew closer to mine.
"You should speak a little nicer to me." The warning was clear in his voice, but of course I didn't stop myself.
"Make me." I spat.
His mouth slammed against mine full force and so fast that I barely had to time to think or react. His tongue quickly entered my mouth as it was still open in surprise; his hands roamed my body, squeezing my ass and then up my shirt and fondling my breasts. I tried with all of my strength to push him off of me but nothing was working. I bit down hard on his tongue and he growled against my mouth.
"N.. no.. geoff me!" I finally yelled when he stopped momentarily to take a breath.
But he was right back to it before I could utter another word. He tore away from my mouth and started sucking and biting my neck and chest. Tears started to come out of my eyes and my fighting spirit started to die out. I couldn't stop him, he was just to strong. A distant memory flashed in my mind. No.. not again. All of a sudden his mouth stopped moving and his body went stiff. He rose a hand to my face and felt the tears that had been flowing down.
"Don't do that, I hate that." He whispered as his eyes softened for a split second.
"You hate that? Sorry for being a little bit frightened after you attacked me." I whispered.
"I'm sorry, I got out of control, you are just so infuriating."
"Well sorry for actually standing up for myself." And with that I straightened up my uniform, unlocked the door and stormed out into the hallway not even bothering to see if he followed me. As soon as I saw his face when I walked into homeroom I knew that he was nothing but trouble and after learning that he was a Dragneel my suspensions increased. Now after the last incident there was no doubt in my mind that Natsu Dragneel was a complete douche. There was nothing good inside him and I would just have to learn to stay out of his way. This is what I thought the rest of the day as I went through my classes, luckily the only other classes I had with him were history and lunch and in both I made sure I was as far from him as was possible. But as the end of the day grew nearer I grew angry. Why do I have to go through school and watch out for him, he should be the one to watch out for me. So when I saw Natsu surrounded by his adoring fans and what seemed to be like some of his friends that anger that was welling up inside me exploded and I started walking to where Natsu was standing.
"Natsu Dragneel, you DICK!"
And right there in front of most of the student body I kicked Natsu Dragneel in the balls. The look of surprise and pain was so worth the detention that I would probably be receiving later. And just as I came I walked out, confidently with my head held high. Everyone watched me leave with their mouths open wide enough to fit their whole fist into as Loke my butler/bodygaurd greeted me and opened the door to my personal limo. Just before I entered though I turned around to get one last look of Natsu on the ground moaning in pain.
"Cya tomorrow!" I yelled out smiling before sliding into my limo and driving away.
"LUUUCCCCCYYYYY!"
