Exotic Anbu

Sakura walked behind Kakashi, sasuke, Naruto and Sai back into Konoha as they returned from another mission in which she was useless…again. She wondered if she would ever get stronger. She trained with Tsunade for years and she still froze at the sight of danger. Sakura sighed and slowly walked in another direction from her team so they would not see her slip away. She slowly let her feet take her to the one place she would go to think, the Blossom Tree Field. She would often go there as a child and climb the trees and sit on a branch to think.

She smiled as she saw the trees and jumped up into one of them and sat on a thick branch with her back to the trunk. She took a scroll from her pack and opened it, staring at it for a few minutes…'an anbu application form' Sakura thought. Sai had given it to her and told her he hoped she would join their ranks as Anbu. Sighing, she leaned her head back to lean against the tree.

She was so absorbed in her thoughts she hadn't seen Sai leaning against the trunk beneath her. "Sakura, what's wrong?" he asked as he glanced upwards at her. Sakura looked down at him and knowing her silence was disturbed, she jumped down.

"I don't know if I am ready Sai, for filling out the Anbu form. Do Kakashi and the others know you even gave this to me?" Sai shook his head no. Sakura felt a shimmer of hope. "I need time away from the team Sai. I need to develop something to make me a valuable asset to Anbu ranks"

Sai Nodded. "I will see what I can do, We may get a temporary replacement, how long are you thinking?" He asked, if it was only for a few months, the team could get by without a replacement. Sai was content with his team now, his newfound family.

"Only 2 months, 3 at most. I need to think it out and then test it to make sure it is effective." Sakura explained. Sai informed her he would tell the others and the Hokage of her request before disappearing. Sakura smiled and looked at the stream and noticed how fluid it moved no matter what way the water shifted, it never lost its fluidity and grace. 'Much like dancing' she thought.

2 months later

Sakura noticed that she had seen Kakashi and the rest of her team around the village less and less, almost as if they were avoiding her. She merely shook her head and focused on her routine once more, she couldn't lose her focus now, she was so close. She had possibly invented a new classification of Anbu if this worked out, Classification: Exotic Anbu. Anbu ranked Shinobi who used the skills of exotic style dancing to lure their enemies into giving information, with her genjutsu as backup she felt confident her skills would be enough.

"Finally, I think I am ready now." She whispered to herself, she unrolled the scroll and swiftly filled out the application. Rolling it back up she took off for Tsunade's office. Once there, she felt the unmistakable chakra of Sasuke and Kakashi. So she decided to sit outside the office and wait. Tsunade yelled for a moment then it got quiet before the door opened and Sasuke walked out with Kakashi behind him, Sasuke walked past Sakura without sparing her a glance while Kakashi did the same, his eyes had regret.

Sakura walked into the office. "Tsunade, I filled out the application for Anbu." Tsunade looked over Sakura and held a hand out expecting the scroll. Sakura handed the scroll over and sat in the chair waiting for her response.

"Well, I was not expecting this Sakura. You may very well be onto something for a new way to perform seduction missions already." She remarked as she read over the form. "Take 4 girls and go to Suna, they have classes there, but be at the Anbu hall by 7:00am a week from now. There are others who will be showing their skills for entrance." Sakura nodded and walked out with a smile.

She stopped by the Barbecue to see Ino, Tenten and Hinata eating lunch with Temari. Sakura stepped inside and waved. "Can I sit with you guys, I have a request for you. I Need your help." Sakura asked, with smiles they moved to let her sit.

"What's going on Sakura?" Ino asked, Tenten, Hinata and Temari all looked at her waiting for an answer.

"Well, I Want to take classes for something special and I want you guys there with me. Tsunade said I may be onto something for seduction missions and I need others who can do what I plan to learn." She explained. "It's called Shimmy, it is a type of dancing that is done mostly similar to belly dancing." Ino and the others just starred at her before jumping on the opportunity.

Sakura explained Tsunade said she could take 4 girls to Suna to learn the art of Shimmy. Luckily Suna wasn't that far for a shinobi to travel. They reached Suna in a day. Gaara smiled as he saw Temari, "Tsunade has informed me what this visit is about already and I have a room prepared for just this training. Matsuri will take you to it" Matsuri smiled and lead the way to an open space room.

Matsuri was already trained in the art so she explained she would be teaching them. Going through all the moves from the simple falling leaves move where both hands lift above the head and one hand at a time rotates down the side of the body gracefully to the more advanced moves such as the tremor layered with the figure eight where the hip moves in a figure eight pattern while tremoring the hips ever so slightly. By the end of the 5th day, Sakura and the others mastered the moves well enough. They thanked Matsuri and left for Konoha.

Arriving back within a day, they were there just in time to take a quick shower, dress and pack their bag with their outfit that Matsuri had made for them in suna. Arriving at the Anbu Hall 20 minutes early, the instructor let them in. Yamato had his Tiger mask on as he motioned for them to take places on the floor. Tsunade had agreed to let Sakura's team watch her as long as they remained silent and did not distract her, so they stayed above the landing on the opposite side of the glass.

The list of women were separated till only Sakura and Ino remained, The last part of the test was Free style Shimmying. Sasuke and the others were amazed, not only was Sakura's body hypnotic to watch but she was also not the least bit tired, unlike Ino who was panting slightly. Yamato allowed the two girls to go take a bathroom break and drink some water to rehydrate the body. Sakura noticed Ino collapsed into a chair. "Ino come on, we are almost there, don't get exhausted on me now." She said

Ino waved her hand and was ready to pass out, when Yamato asked for them to resume their places,Ino stepped into the center in her yellow outfit with the yellow coins dangling from her hip area. Ino moved more slowly than Sakura did. Ino's movements were lazy, almost as if she lacked the will for her routine and did not place the moves well enough. Once her routine was over, Sakura took the center, her outfit a beautiful shade of pink with a lighter pink ribbon around her hips, pink gems dangled off the ribbon. Starting with the elegant grapevine step which added a touch of mysticism instead of the traditional ghawazee step, it enabled her more free movement range for her transition to the hip movements called M&M, her hips moved in the shape of a sideways m gracefully and her team found neither of them could take their eyes off her. She slid into the stomach combination of chest camel into a stomach ripple. Once the tempo of the music increased, Sakura let her feet take over more fully, her feet dancing and jumping along the floor in perfect tune, her hips tremoring as she layered the figure 8 perfectly before sliding into fluid arm movements and ending in the traditional home pose stance.

What Yamato noticed the most were her eyes. They had that magnetic pull that enticed a person to maintain their attention, which would be useful in a seduction mission. "Well, sakura I must admit you far exceeded my expectations. You and Temari with her aggression. I will pass the message to Tsunade that you pass and welcome to the anbu ranks. Kakashi will be expected to introduce you to the seduction expectations as he was your sensei" Yamato said hiding his smile behind his mask. Sakura nodded and with a quiet thank you she walked out.

She changed swiftly and upon walking out, she saw her team, Sasuke with a smirk, Naruto letting out a loud cheer, Sai smiling and Kakashi nodded in appreciation. "Well Sakura we are happy you are finally joining our ranks." Kakashi said. Sakura smiled slightly before turning and leaving, her team confused as to why. Sai moved beyond them to follow her.

"Sakura, wait." Sai called out grabbing her arm, unprepared for her anger as she yanked away from him. "Sakura why are you so angry with us? We did what you wanted." He said

"You all avoided me Sai, made me feel the outcast. Well congratulations, I can do it on my own." She walked away as Sasuke and the others caught the last part of the conversation. Sasuke looked at Kakashi and Sai wondering what to do now.

"I will go, if anyone knows anything about being an outcast, it's me" Naruto said and walked after her. Sasuke and the others walked back to the training grounds to wait for her. Kakashi had her things already, he just had to drop them off.

With a minor excuse he disappeared, appearing in Sakura's room in time to hear her tell Naruto to go away and slam her door. Kakashi sat on her bed with the box of items, Sakura jumped when she saw him. "What do you want Kakashi?" she said angrily.

He merely put the box aside and stood. "Sakura, you are anbu now, time to put away childish actions don't you think?" he said as he brushed by her. "We didn't ignore or avoid you, you wanted space, we gave it to you. Simple as that"

Sakura grabbed the side of his shirt when he moved by her. "Kakashi, I am sure you know what is expected…..of you, right?" Kakashi stood silently before nodding. "Do the others know you are here?" he shook his head and turned to face her.

"Sakura this isn't easy for me. I have always seen you as the innocent one that I didn't want to experience the dangers you will now face. Sasuke has had to perform a seduction mission as well as the rest of us, the more you take, the more part of you dies inside. Can you handle that?" he asked her, tilting her face upwards. Sakura met his eyes and whispered one word… Yes

A/N: Sorry guys, cliffhanger. I am exhausted and if you think this story deserves more chapters, please let me know. I intend to write more tomorrow anyway. I think I will be adding a lemon in chapter 2.
