A Changed Princess??
This story takes place in the 19th century. In Japan ruled by King Fugitaka. This is my first fanfic, feel free to give any comments if it is badly written. ************************************************************************
"Welcome all to my daughter's 8th birthday ball," proclaimed King Fujitaka.
Princess Sakura walked down the spiral staircase in her beautiful light blue gown. Everyone praised the Princess of her graciousness and beauty.
She curtsied and walked across the Hall. Every guest bowed. She walked up onto the stage, where her grandmother, Dowager Sayumi, father, King Fujitake, mother, Queen Nadeshiko, and brother, Prince Touya, all stood. She curtsied.
Dowager Sayumi is 45 this year. She is a graceful and beautiful lady. She is also a caring grandmother. She loves her grandchildren very much, especially Sakura.
"Let the ball begin! ," proclaimed the King.
There was beautiful music played by the Royal Orchestra. Every guest danced to the lovely tune.
Wine was served to every guest.
Prince Touya went down the stage to ask for a dance from a beautiful lady sitting in a corner. And both of them danced happily.
The King went to talk to the guest.
"Come Sakura..," asked the Queen.
Princess Sakura walked gracefully towards Queen Nadeshiko.
"Is there anything you need mother?" asked Sakura.
"No, dear child.." replied the Queen.
"Here,"said Queen Nadeshiko.
She took Sakura's hand and placed a silver bracelet with words written on it.
"Constant as the stars above, Always know that you are loved" she reads
"Wow, this is wonderful ! Mother." exclaimed Sakura.
"This is the phrase from the song you taught me when I was young." continued Sakura.
"It was a song I composed when I was carrying you and this song dedicates only to you. Nobody knows about it, except you and me." said the Queen.
And the Queen started to sing: Constant as the stars above Always know that you are loved
Sakura joined in: And my love shining in you Will have your dreams come true
And Sakura looked up at her mother. They hugged each other.
"I will never take this bracelet off my hand. I promised" said Sakura.
"Come, my darling."asked the Dowager.
Sakura walked towards her.
"This will be your birthday gift," said Dowager Sayumi.
She took Sakura's hand and placed on her hand a hair clip, which was covered by diamonds.
"This is lovely!," exclaimed Sakura.
"Let me put this on for you," said the Dowager.
Dowager Sayumi stood up and put the diamond clip on her hair.
It was a very happy birthday ball for Sakura. It was also her happiest day in her life. But King William, an evil sorcerer, destroyed all these happiness.
