Oni was a normal wizard. He knew few spells and curses. He was trained with herbs and spices. But one day that all changed .
"So, how did you like the kittens?""Oh, I thought they were adorable!" his girl friend, Brittany, said. "You can keep one if you want", he said."Really? You're the best!" she exclaimed. Unbeknownst to them, high in the heavens. The archangel Tyreal watched them. "Hmmmm", he said as he thought," He is just what sanctuary needs." he contemplated. With a low prayer, Tyreal sent a sphere of magic towards them.
Oni looked up at the sky and saw the sphere hurtling towards them. "Oh my gods!" he said."Brittany, move!"He cried as he pushed her away. The blast engulfed him. When it subsided, Oni was gone and Brittany was on the ground.
When Oni woke up in a vast plain of white."Wha.where am I?"" Am I dead?" he asked."No, I brought you here", Tyreal said as he appeared. "For what?" Oni questioned. "I need you to do something for me.".
"Centuries ago three prime evils rose up from the darkness. A band of eight warriors then destroyed them. But now five other, more powerful ones have emerged. You are the one who will bring them to destruction." Tyreal said.
"All right, I'll do it. But I need a few things first."
