Disclaimer: I really don't own it. I mean, really REALLY!

A/N: I know, I know. I should be working on Not Really Herself. But this is just a quick oneshot that, well, shot into my brain. Please enjoy.

I mean, I like it…

"So it's really over?" Frank Hardy asked his younger brother, Joe.

"Yep," Joe replied lazily.

"How can you be so calm about this?" Frank asked. "You just broke up with Iola. Over a little fight!"

"It was her idea. She'll come back to me within the hour, trust me," Joe replied.

"I can't believe you!" Frank exclaimed.

The brothers sat in the silence of Frank's room, not wanting to say anything to each other.

Less than five minutes later, Iola burst in.

"Hi, Frank. Hi, Joe," she said, sitting down on the floor.

"See?" Joe said smugly.

"See what?" Iola asked.

"You came back for me. I told Frank you would but he didn't believe me," Joe replied with a Cheshire-cat grin.

"Oh, no Joe. I still want to be broken up!" Iola said calmly.

"What?" Joe asked, his face falling.

"Well, I just think it's a good idea. That's why I came over here. I just wanted to make sure YOU'RE alright," she explained.

"Ha-ha! You should know by now that I'm never wrong!" Frank exclaimed

"Harsh, Frank, real harsh!" Joe mumbled.

"Oops, sorry," Frank grinned sheepishly.

"Well, whatever. I just wanted to make sure you knew," Iola said standing up.

"Well, bye," Joe said quietly.

"Bye," Iola said, leaning over to give Joe a quick kiss.

She appeared unfazed for a second, but quickly smacked herself on the forehead when she realized what she had done.

"Oh! I'm sorry, Joe! It's just a habit! I'm really sorry! Can we try that again?" Iola asked.

"Of course. Well, bye Iola," Joe said.

"Bye, Joe!" Iola said.

In the next second, he pulled her by her arm for a kiss.

They kissed for only two seconds before Iola pulled away.

"Joe!" She exclaimed as Frank snickered.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did you mean without the kiss?" Joe grinned. Iola smacked him in the arm.

Yes, without the kiss!" Iola cried.

"Well, fine. Bye, then," Joe said, crossing his arms.

"Bye, Joe. Bye, Frank," Iola said, storming out of the room.

"Well. That was entertaining," Frank said. Joe just looked at his brother.

Then, once again, Iola marched into the brunet brother's room.

"OK, you know what I was thinking?" she asked.

"No, but I bet you're gonna tell us," Joe said.

"I think that all we want is one last good kiss. You know, as a kind of ending to an era," she explained.

"We've been an era?" Joe asked, amused.

"Do you want to kiss or not?" Iola asked. Joe quickly shut up.

"OK, here are the rules. It'll be quick, no tongue, and your hands must remain ON MY SHOULDERS!" Iola exclaimed.

"You take the fun out of everything!" Joe whined.

"Ready?" Iola asked.

"Duh!" Joe exclaimed as he leaned in.

And with that, they were kissing.

"OK, guys. There you go; one last kiss. Now… oh," Frank said, realizing that they were still kissing.

"Uh, guys? You have to breathe soon!" Frank stated.

The kept kissing.

"This must be some sort of record! Oh, well. I'll be reading this magazine when you're finished," Frank said, picking up a National Geographic.

Frank glanced up.

"Hey, Joe! Rule violation!" He exclaimed, pointing towards the teens.

They didn't hear him; they kept kissing.

"I was only following your rules," Frank said, looking back to his article.

The second he glanced down, they broke apart, breathing heavily.

"Aw! Right when it was getting good!" Frank said.

"I'll say," Joe agreed. Iola just gave them both glares.

"Bye, Joe. Bye, Frank," she panted.

"Bye," the brothers chorused.

After she left the room, Joe waited a minute before following her.

When he came back, Frank didn't even bother looking up from his magazine.

"Back together?" Frank asked.

"Hell, yeah!" Joe replied.
