I hope you enjoy this poem. It was not indented to be a work of genius, but rather to convey a message. When you read the gospels you see times when people don't believe in Jesus or his miracles. So I put this into poetic form to show you Jesus response to their disbelief. He forgives them and lets them come to him but tells them something else very important. To know what that is you have to read my poem.
The Pharisees grew angry and did not believe.
They said who was he to say the things he was saying and did not agree.
"Who are you to say the things you say? We don't believe you just go away."
He was walking and people were yelling.
Oh what fools they were to be yelling.
"If you are king prove it to us. If you want us to believe then you must."
The Mary's came running with joy in their hearts.
Jesus is among us they said giving the others a start.
"Surely he isn't he died you see."
"Oh but he is believe you me."
"I will not believe it" Tomas said aloud.
"I saw what happened. I was in the crowd."
"I need to feel his hand and his side. I need proof that's how I'll decide."
And surely enough his and our proof then came.
For there was Jesus proving the Mary's claim.
"Here you are Tomas don't be shy. Come feel my hands and my side. Come see my feet and have your proof. Come every one who needs it this proof, but blessed is the man who doesn't need to."
