"Apples and Headphones."

Percy crept into Carter's room, his eyes darting around the room for any sign that Carter was awake.

He sighed in relief at spotting the figure of Carter sprawled on the bed.

He turned to Carter's TV and assembled his "gift".

"This is going to rock!" he scream-whispered and pumped his fist into the air.

Carter woke to the sound of Gangnam Style sounding throughout the room. He opened one eye lazily, then scrambled back in surprise at what he saw.

"Percy?" He asked aghast.

Percy turned back to look at him and grinned.

"Hey, Mario Cart-er! How d'ya like mah present? It's an apple speaker, with a sugar pancake Just Dance 4 CD, a chocolate console, cinnamon bun earphones, and last, but not the least, YOUR VERY OWN ANT HILL!"

Percy was currently gesturing to the stack of sweets and moving to Just Dance 4. I watched him play for a while and scowled, "You suck in that game!" I accused and stood up from my bed only to be twisted around and judo-flipped.

I groaned and looked up at the culprit, only to find a leprechaun glaring back at me, holding a clover gun.

"Give me the money!" he hollered in an irish accent and barreled into me, sending me toppling over the edge of my bed.

Percy grinned at me from his dancing.

"You like? Your own pet leprechaun, an ant hill-for some reason they won't leave the room, I enchanted them- and a whole lot of edible gadgets that will be ruined by the ants and of course, me terrorizing your privacy! You like!"

I groaned in annoyance and in disbelief before muttering, "Wake me up when it's ov-"

I froze and scrambled after the apple speakers and cinnamon bun earphones and jammed the end of the earphones into the bright red apple.

I grinned in delight and collapsed on the bed. I couldn't hear anythi-

"Lead us to a place! Guide us with your grace! To a place where we'll be safe!" Percy sang into the speakers, I groaned and took the earphones out , yet again.

"Make it stop!" I hollered and scrambled under the sheets, only to find a beluga whale staring back at me. It seemed to grin at me and wink. I collapsed on my bed, only to feel ants crawling up under my shirt.

I glared at Percy who now failing at "Cooking Mama!".

"I'm getting back at you one day, Perseus. Just you wait."
