Hey, shadowmist here!
Well, it's been a while so I wrote something for BlackSun/Eclipse. Not fluffy or anything like that, just some talks. This took place while they were at the dance sooo..
Disclaimer: I do not own RWBY.
"Have you ever thought of joining the White Fang?"
Sun looked at Blake surprisingly. The question caught him off guard.
He chuckled lightly as he continued to lead her from their dance.
"Hey, c'mon, we're here to enjoy and relax," Sun said in his usual perky tone. "We shouldn't be talking about your affiliations about them."
"But I'm not talking about myself," Blake replied.
Sun arched a brow.
"I'm asking you if you ever thought of joining them," Blake finished her sentence with a great emphasis on the word 'you'.
"Weeeell," Sun shrugged and looked away from her stare. "No, not in a million years."
The cat faunus tilted her head. "Really?"
Sun looked at her and sighed. "Okay, maybe a little."
"Really?" Blake repeated, but only in a different intonation.
"I admit, I was once considering the option when I was a kid," Sun rolled his eyes as he thought. "But like I said when you first talked to me about the White Fang, I eventually I realized they're a bunch wimps."
Sun then stopped in realization of what he said. "No offense to you, Blake. You're-!"
Blake cut him off. "No, you're right. The White Fang's a bunch of wimps."
She took a deep breath. "I'm a wimp."
Sun was about to open his mouth to speak when Blake spoke again. "Never able to handle rejection. Taking it out as a form of violence."
At that moment, the two of them stopped with their motion. The two standing on the dance floor while the other students around them continued to dance with the rhythm.
Blake had her eyes down on the floor.
The monkey faunus sighed and looked at her in the most sincere expression. "But you left. You left because you were smart enough to know that what they're doing is wrong."
Blake looked up at him.
"And besides," Sun grinned goofily. "I think your teammates already made it clear enough for you to know since... You're not all that Blakey right now."
Blake's cat ears twitched under her bow. Arching a brow, she let go of his hand and placed her hand on her hip.
"Really? Blakey? Is that a new form of adjective you use to describe me?" Blake looked at him, not amused.
Sun shrugged. "Hey, don't blame me; you turned me down when I asked you to this dance."
Blake couldn't help but chuckle with his statement.
"Well, sorry about that," Blake said as the two of them continued to dance.
"Don't sweat it," Sun smiled.
