Title: Untouchable
Pairing: One-sided Prussia/Italy and Germany/Italy I guess?
Rating: G
Summary: There are just some things you can't have.

This is really just an experiment I guess… I'll write something with more later. But for now, enjoy this entirely random (and angsty) drabble.

Hetalia does not belong to me.

He knew he couldn't have him.

As much as he loved that carefree grin, those childish, lazy movements, and that little curl off to the side of his hair that was just begging to be touched, he knew he could never please him as his brother did.

Gilbert could see it. There was something between the two Axis Powers that just couldn't be explained. A secret which neither of them swore secrecy to.

Even though Ludwig called his Italian ally a useless, lazy, careless, unmotivated fool, Gilbert knew what words he really wanted to say. He wanted to say them, too.

Yet Feliciano wasn't his and never would be. But he should be glad for him, right? His brother was happy for once, actually enjoying the presence of another human being (as awkward as he acted around him). He wanted to feel that joy.

But he couldn't. He just couldn't bring himself to smile when he saw how empty his hands were.
