EarthBound to SMASH MOTHER
The year in the story is 200X. Many years has passed since the defeat of Giygas. Giygas is an evil alien that took over the future (during 199X), and it was up to Ness to stop it, for he was the chosen one. Besides Giygas, the status of Ness' parents is unknown. Tracey's, Ness' sister, status is also unknown. The time is 6:42 AM. Ness is sitting on his couch in the living room, daydreaming about his pre-asteroid, backstab neighbor Pokey Minch, and the rumor he's heard approximately 10 years ago, that Pokey eventually became "The Pig King" for some reason.
Based on Pokey's appearance from 199X, Pokey has blond british hair, a fat nose, always wears overalls on top of a white T-shirt, and red sneakers. You can't see his eyes, which, from distant view, makes him look like an actual pig. Ness' appearance from 199X: Black hair, black eyes, always wears a red hat, a blue shirt with gold stripes, blue shorts, white socks, and red sneakers. To carry various items, Ness always wears a backpack. Paula: Long blond hiar, common pink bow, pink dress, and red sneakers. Poo: martial arts uniform wearer, bald ponytail, and white shoes. And Jeff: Typical nerd kid; wears glasses and lacks physical contact, but he's great at mechanics. The four are all users of PSI magic. They used PSI magic and other various attacks on enemies during their journey to Giygas' Lair.
The hero, Ness, is now 30 years of age. He is still living in Onett, trying to find out where the hell his family is. He's married to Paula, the girl Ness saved from the Happy Happyist Cult, who also gained a liking to Ness on their journey. Their other companions in their journey; Poo and Jeff have moved on. Poo owns a Kung Fu training center, whilst being a crown prince, and Jeff sells rockets for New Years and Independence Day.
