White Roses
You look at the white roses with a mixture of hatred and longing.
Sick, it was sickening looking at those flowers.
Sick, because he didn't love you.
Sick, because you would do anything for him.
You snort, white roses must he be so mocking.
Innocence, you lost that a long time ago.
You lost it.
You scold yourself, for being so damn stupid.
You look at them, again,
Secrecy, secrets you have so many of them.
You grab the white roses and throw at the wall.
The vase shatters on impact.
The sounds of breaking glass echoing around the room
it nothing compared to the echoes in your heart.
You laugh because, you realize something you should of realized a long time ago.
Because in all reality, all he ever gave you was heart aches and roses
