Halloween Murder Mystery
Written by Ceara Ivory

Summary: After escaping the hospital in the second film, Laurie Strode begins to question her brother's actions, recalling how close he came to stopping his attempts. Something just doesn't sit well with her about any of this and she decides to do some investigating, enlisting the help of World Renowned Detective Richard Moore from Japan. Naturally, the actual brains of the outfit comes along in the form of Jimmy Kudo AKA Conan Edogawa. Might include appearances from Harley Hartwell and Phantom Thief 1412 and Eva Kadan and even Dr. Agasa.

AN: For the sake of time line, my sanity and simplicity, I'm moving the events of the original Halloween up 18 years so that the events of the Halloween murders took place in 1996 as opposed to 1978. I will also be taking artistic license to make everything make as much sense as possible.

Prologue:

Laurie wanted nothing more to cry her eyes out as the ambulance rushed her to a hospital into another town. Her peaceful night of babysitting at the Doyle's had gone to Hell in a hand basket when her psychopathic brother attacked them. This same brother had murdered their older sister, Judith, fifteen years prior. He'd since been confined at Smithgrove Sanitarium. And somehow he'd broken loose and come after her. He'd killed her two best friends and another boy, as well as several citizens and hospital personnel. His keeper, Samuel Loomis just barely managed to save her by giving his own life.

But even as she wanted to cry, there was one particular part of that night that just wouldn't leave her mind. She had called his name and he'd stopped just for a brief moment, and regarded her with what appeared to be confusion.

Why had he stopped? What was behind the madness that was Michael Myers? Now that she thought about it, there was something suspicious about his behavior. She had the strangest feeling that he wasn't completely in control, which meant someone or something else was.

As the last remaining member of the Myers family, and the younger sister of both Judith and Michael, it was up to her to find out exactly what was going on. She owed it to their memories. But how? She wasn't a detective, she knew very little of the deductive arts.

"And now for the World News." the radio caught her attention. "The Sleeping Sleuth of Japan, Richard Moore, solves another tough case."

Laurie listened closely.

"Yeah, there's not a case that I, the Great Richard Moore, cannot solve!" a conceited cackle followed making her wince.

"Hmmm, I wonder…" she thought aloud. She knew it would be expensive, but she still had the money that she inherited from her birth parents and it was the only chance she had.

AN: Yes I know, an unlikely plotline, but that means it's probably not been done. It was inspired by a dream I had last night involving the two mediums. In it, Conan was talking to Myers just like he usually does in the show when it's just him solving the crime. I don't know if Ambulances would have radios, but I needed a viable way for her to here of Richard. I will be using the dub versions of their names as I know them better.
