Pinkie Pie was hopping around Ponyville, being happy and what not. While hopping around, she then noticed a whole line in front of a stand which was somewhere right next to Sugarcube Corner, Mr. and Mrs. Cake being in the line, but instead of asking them, Pinkie Pie hopped over to Cherilee who was at the very end of the line. Pinkie Pie tapped Cheerilee's shoulder as Cheerilee turned her head, having a sweet smile on her face. "Oh Pinkie, here for the oranges too?"
"Huh? The oranges? What?" Pinkie asked, scratching her head, completely unaware of the situation that was happening. Cheerilee then giggled and just said, "They're selling the best oranges today in Ponyville. I heard they only sold these ones once a year, always in different places." Pinkie Pie's eyes then widened as she suddenly took a bag full of bits out of nowhere.
"Thanks a lot, Cheerilee! I'm going to buy some right away!" Pinkie said, hopping right into the front of the line, some people screaming at her to get out of the front and go back to the back of the line. "I'll take twenty!" She said, dropping the bag of bits on the stand. The salespony vendor pony thing then looked at her and just handed over a whole bag of oranges. "Here you go, now lets see.. the change.."
"Oh don't mind it! Just keep the change!" Pinkie said, hopping away. The salespony just shook her head, "That sure was one happy (and pink) pony" she thought.
When Pinkie Pie arrived back at Sugarcube Corner, she was doing some odd things with the oranges, and here are the oddest things she has used them for.
One, she stuck string on three of them and threw them at the wall, making explosion sounds. Two, she took two of them and named them Orangey 1 and Orangey 2. Three, she took ten of them and sliced them all in half, making a smiley face with them. And when there were only 5 more left, she knew exactly what to do.
~Three Hours later~
Mr. and Mrs. Cake arrived back into Sugarcube Corner, carrying a bag of oranges which had at least 15-20 oranges. When they walked inside, they saw Pinkie Pie adding frosting to a cake that almost reached the ceiling. "Pinkie Pie! What in Celestia's name are you /doing/?" Mr. Cake asked.
"I'm making the worlds most ginormous, super, amazing, orangey, delicious, cakeytastic, awesome, epic, cool cake in Equestria! And I only made it with the five oranges I had left." Pinkie said, giggling. Mrs.
Cake then stared at the huge cake in front of her, her jaw just basically stuck onto the floor. "All of this..
with five oranges..?"
"Yeperony!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed, adding the finishing touches onto the cake. And at that, both Mr. and Mrs. Cake fainted. Hey, they shouldn't question her, she's Pinkie Pie.
The minute the Cakes woke up, they saw Pinkie Pie with her mouth covered in chocolate icing and what not, and she was asleep. Again, no questioning they thought. She is Pinkie Pie.
