This is my first Twilight Fanfic so please be kind. This is chapter one and I have written three so far but if this does not get enough reviews then I won't post them.
Chapter 1. In which Bella makes a discovery
Emmett POV
"Hey Bella" I said, "What's up?"
"Oh hey Emmett" she said, she sounded pretty puffed out "Where's Edward?" she asked and she stepped in front of my blocking my view of the TV. "Remember he went hunting with Alice and Jasper. What's wrong?" she let out half a sigh of relief. "Nothing's wrong I just forgot that's all" she said walking away "Its just been a pretty hectic week you know" and with that she left but I was so confused that I ran after her. I needed answers.
I found out that she can run pretty fast when she puts her mind to it. But I'm vampire fast so I managed to catch up with her just as she tripped over. I caught her and I noticed that she was slightly hotter than before, 'Maybe she's sick' I thought and with that I set her on her feet and said, "Slow down Bells what's the rush?" I looked at her and she had a look of pure terror on her face "Nothing Emmett" she said rather quickly.
"Yea right Bella" I said "your really jumpy, can actually run a fair way without tripping over and you're about a hundred degrees hotter than before. Don't tell me that nothing is wrong" as I said that I had backed her into a corner and I could feel the heat radiating off of her. "You're right Emmett but think who else do we know that is like this?" she whispered hanging her head. I thought for a moment before whispering "Jacob" I looked at her to find her face streaked with tears and she was crying.
"I'm just going to ask if I'm becoming one of them and then I'll be back but please, please don't tell Edward." She said. I was silent for a moment before I said "I won't tell Edward but please promise me that you will come back" she looked me in the eye "of course I will she said and she gave me a big hug. I could feel the heat surrounding me "No matter what" she whispered then she let me go and was gone.
