A Kiss
It was only a kiss
Cold and smooth, warm and soft
--a brushing of lips, a gliding of sorts
It was only a kiss
His silent exhalation, her soft inhale
--a mingling of air, a touching of souls
It was only a kiss
An instant in time, an eternity of emotion
--too short for anyone to fall
