It was only after Sin had been destroyed for good did Lulu relies that she started to have feelings for her dead lover, Chappu's, brother Wakka. This though scared her because this wasn't just anyone this was Chappu's brother. Was it wrong to have feelings for Wakka? Lulu let out a long sight, closing her ruby red eyes. Chappu wouldn't want her to waste her life away but would he allow her to be happy with his brother? People would think she only went with Wakka because of his relationship to Chappu. But, that wasn't the reason.

The black mage stood from her spot, watching Yuna go into her tent. The High Summoner may have lost her future with Tidus- A sharp pain entered Lulu's heart, as if telling her that Yuna's future wasn't lost, that he was going to return. Even so, the mage lost her future with Chappu and she was given a chance to have another one, with Wakka.

The belts of her outfit made a soft jingle as she walked to the entrance to the village of Besaid, where Wakka was talking to one of his blitzers. The man nodded and ran back to the celebration of the Eternal Calm. Wakka watched him leave then noticed Lulu, causing a large smile to consume his face as he waved her over. "Hey Lu!" The raven haired woman returned the smile softly; knowing now was the time to tell Wakka.

Wakka watched every move Lulu made as she approached him. His smile faltered as he thought of what to say to her. He started to worry when he began to fall for Lulu, Chappu's girl. But, as much as it pained Wakka, his brother was dead and wouldn't want him to snuff out his feelings, right? "May we go for a walk?" Lulu asked in her soft but dark voice. A walk would give Wakka a chance to talk to her without having to worry about people over hearing.

"Yeah."

The walk was in silence as the pair of guardians made their way up to Besaid's travelers' shrine. None of the fiends bothered them, the sound of celebrating and the air the two gave off with their battle experience was enough to scare them off. Wakka watched as Lulu stood, watching the village below. Her normal guard she always had up was down, confusing the Blitzball couch. He would have to ask after he spilled his emotions to the black mage.

"Lu, I have something to say, but it's hard to say ya know? So don't think I just rambling, ya." Lulu smiled but wiped it clean when she turned to face Wakka. Her nod was the only permission he needed. "You and my brother used to be together and I see why he wanted to protect you. We've gotten closer, at least that's how I feel, and when I started to relies that I liked you well..." Wakka looked everywhere but at Lulu. When he found a nice rock to look at he continued. "I got scared. Falling for Chappu's girl, my own brother, I thought maybe you would hate me if I told you and I didn't want to ruin our new friendship so I kept thinking 'It's a crush, it'll pass' ya? But it never did, and it still hasn't."

There was along pause that even the music from Besaid couldn't break. Lulu allowed what Wakka said to settle in before smiling softly. Wakka finally met her ruby eyes when her slender fingers moved his chin so he was facing her. "I think we had the same idea when we walked up here." Wakka grinned and pulled the black mage into a hug, placing a tender kiss to the top of Lulu's head, both of them no longer conflicted my their emotions.
