Good things evaporate quicker, than the fear itself because whatever we do, fear always stays longer than expected.
Despite the loss of memory inside of our head, dreams and nightmares always stay the same. Those lost and "useless" illusions always reverse in your brain, coming back with more and more satisfaction, candy or gore. The original taste of bitter and sweet remains in your mind, however there is always a new image that comes up into your mind after a period of time. No one loses those precious snapshots of sweet or bitter, fear or happiness. Whatsoever, only all bitter things take up the most space in the gallery of our brain. Piece of evidence will be shown, when you relate this to things that you do in real life. For example when you get candy, a sweet-precious thing, you either let it land in our stomach or throw it somewhere, where you think you'll find it again. Time, days, months or even years pass, and the loss of memory inside of our head returns.
"All the good things we forget,
All the memories we regret,
All the right things we reject,
All the fears we reflect."
