"Daddy?" my son said.

"What?" I asked, putting the blanket over him.

"I met a woman today."

"Oh sure, that's nice, but Mommy's not here right now. I know you miss her. So do I."

"No." did he just scream? "No. Not Mommy. She kind of looks like Mommy, but she isn't Mommy."

"Well, who?" we didn't even leave the house that day.

He smiled at the dark hallway behind the open door. I can't see a thing.

"I think she's Mommy's mommy."

My whole face froze.

"Look!" he pointed to the doorway.

"There's no one." I told my son.

"Mommy's mommy told me today that she was glad I have a real mommy that I love. She got sad when she said she couldn't be there for Mommy the way she is with me."

"You know, your mommy and I never told you about your grandmother." I stood up and turned off the lights.

A/N: I know that Padmé being a Force-ghost isn't canon, but for the sake of this story, she is. I think Luke and Leia didn't know about Padmé until 36ABY in Legends. I don't know if in the new canon when or even IF they found out about her.

And this story is based off of some YouTube videos about creepy things that kids said.
