The LOG dialogue session
Shadow: Welcome to the Legacy of Genesis, starring me Shadow Fox Ace, aka Shadow
Bladerend: And me Bladerend aka Oscar
Shadow: So ready to show the world that Ash sucks while we are better trainer than him
Bladerend: Hell yeah!
Shadow: Cool so …how do we start the story then?
Bladerend: Like this (said while snapping his fingers)
After he did that, the scene changes to their homes
Shadow: Awesome! So who will do the intro?
Bladerend: I will
Shadow: Okay, take us away Bladey
Bladerend: We do not own Pokémon as it is owned by Nintendo
Chapter 1: The new beginning
Zero Pov:
"Zero, you're gonna be late to receive your Pokémon from Professor Oak," said a female voice.
"I know mom, I'm up plus I already had my Pokémon, you know that," I said.
"Yeah but don't you want to get your pokedex honey?" asked my mom.
After she said that, I quickly put on my traveling outfit and went down the stairs to the dining room.
My traveling outfit was a black wife-beater, a silver hoodie with the moon design on my back, black cargo pants with silver chains by the sides, black and red converse and black fingerless glove with silver chains by the sides.
"Okay mom where's breakfast?" I asked.
"It's here honey, today's bacon, scrambled eggs, toast and your favorite hazelnut coffee," said my mom.
"Wow, thanks mom, maybe I should leave home more often if I gonna have such an awesome breakfast," I joked.
"So you going to join Oscar on his journey as well right?" mom asked ignoring what I said earlier.
"Yup!" I said while popping the "p"
"Good, now remember to always stay safe and take care of your cousin would you?" asked mom.
"I will and don't worry mom, I know," I said trying to assure my mom.
"Okay, now take care now okay," said mom as she kissed my cheeks.
"Okay mom, see you later when I return," I said as I finished my breakfast, took my bag and walk towards Professor Oak's lab.
Oscar's Pov:
I awoke from my deep dreamy slumber and upon looking at the calendar on the wall did I realize that, today was the day, the day to receive my Pokémon. I quickly flipped out from my bed, made it and slipped on my outfit.
My green t-shirt with red trims on the collar and short sleeve, my blue long shorts than covers my knees slightly, green gloves with red finger-tips and slipped on my pale white socks for the boots later. Also I slung over my right shoulder a leather sash for pokeball holding as I didn't like belts. It was dark brown and had shoulder pad compartments and on the side held a pouch for pokeballs.
I looked at the mirror, stared back at me was the reflection of a 12-year old boy, dark crimson red spikey hair, and emerald green eyes was within my sight. I then headed downstairs to get the day started with some breakfast.
'Oscar, breakfast time!' said a cheerful tone, it was my mom.
"Yes mom."
Upon arriving downstairs, I looked over to the dark wood table, my breakfast was ready on the table. Sausages and eggs with pancake, on the chair was my new dark red jeans long sleeve jacket, waiting to be worn by me on my quest to come. I sat down to start eating.
"You need to head over to Professor Oak's today, get your Pokémon and have a lot of fun," my mom said
"Yeah." I replied while swallowing a mouthful of food.
"And also, is your cousin Zero going with you?" mom asked.
"Yeah, he is." I answered
When I was done, I picked the jacket and wore it over my t-shirt.
"Looking good Oscar. I got that jacket just for you," my mom said happily.
"Thanks mom," I said with a small smile.
"No problem, you should get going now eh?"
"Yeah," I said while heading towards the door, being accompanied by mom.
I strapped my brown boots on, grabbed my dark blue bag pack and went for Professor Oak's after waving goodbye to my mom. Walked along the dirt paths and on the way saw Zero coming my way, towards Professor Oak's as well. Upon seeing me, he waves and runs excitedly towards me while I retained my serious look.
"Hey! Oscar, what's up, ready for some Pokémon adventure!?" He tried sounded excited.
"Yeah."
"So glum? You should be excited!" He said while throwing his fist in the air.
"Sure I am, I don't show emotions a lot," I deadpanned.
"Emo," He pouts.
"Yeah, yeah." I rolled my eyes.
We made our way to the lab, entered the large double doors of the lab and we were staring at a decently large lab, the walls white, floor shiny tiles and we see an old man sitting down on the couch.
"Ah! Boys you are here," said Professor Oak with a fatherly smile.
"Hi Professor Oak," said Zero
"Hello," I said.
"Hi there kids, you must be here to collect your Pokémon and pokedex am I right?' asked Oak.
"Actually, I already have my Pokémon," Zero answered.
"Okay since you already have your Pokémon Zero, then you need to have a pokedex," said Professor Oak as he passes Zero a Pokedex.
"Now Oscar you need your Pokémon, now come with me." Continued Professor Oak.
"Alright," I shrugged.
I followed Oak to the room with Pokeballs, there were three sitting on a counter. I looked at them, I decided which one before I was asked to.
"Here Oscar, take this pokedex, and your chosen Pokémon," said Professor Oak while holding onto a pokeball and pokedex.
I took my pokedex and placed it in my side jacket pocket. I then picked the pokeball I chose.
"Here we go," I said as I tossed the ball onto the floor.
"Chang" went the ball as it opened and a white light appear. When it begins to form a shape, the shape was a lizard-like shape.
"Char!" It was a golden Charmander!
"A Shiny Charmander! Good choice Oscar," said Professor Oak.
"Wow, I'm sure lucky to have a shiny as my first one," I said.
"You're sure are Oscar, now what are you gonna name your Charmander?" asked Professor Oak.
"It will be…Fuego," I replied while patting the newly named Fuego on his head.
"Char…" it said cutely.
"Nice name," said Professor Oak.
Meanwhile with Zero
Zero's Pov:
While Oscar is getting his Pokémon, I decided to check mine, mine was given by my dad when I was 5 but now I'm 12. After that, he disappeared. I will still remember that day when it happened…..
Flashback:
"Dad! Dad, where are you going?" I asked, I was wearing a pair of Pikachu Pajamas, preparing to sleep.
"I'm going back to the Ranger's Headquarters for an emergency job," answered Dad. He was wearing a white shirt, red vest, a pair of red fingerless gloves, a utility belt, black pants and running boots.
"But Dad, you promised me that you will celebrate with me for my birthday tomorrow," I said while almost crying.
"Sorry son, I will make it to you….here take this," said Dad while holding out 2 pokeballs.
"What are those?" I asked innocently while tilting my head to the side.
"These are your future Pokémon, you need to take care of them understand?" asked Dad seriously.
"Yes sir!" I said while saluting.
"That's my boy," said Dad while rubbing my hair.
"Hey! Stop doing that, so what are the Pokémon inside them?" I asked while point at the pokeballs.
"That will be a surprise when you get your pokedex from Professor Oak, he told me you will get one when you are ready," said Dad.
"Aww man why can't I get it now?" I asked while whining.
"Cause you are too small," said Dad while patting my head.
"Hey! I'm not small, I just height-challenged," I said while crossing my arm.
"Yeah sure son…I have to go now take care of your mom okay," said Dad.
"I will Dad, take care," I said while waving my hand.
"Bye, son," said Dad waving back then he left.
Flashback: over
That was the last time I ever saw my dad, every time the day before my birthday, mom would lock herself in her room and cry while holding a picture of us when I was 4.
"Okay time to find out who are you two, Go!" I said while tossing both balls.
When both ball hit the ground, both opened with the "Chang" sound and two lights appeared. Both begin to form two shapes. The first was a small standing canine-like shape while the other is a small bipedal shape.
"Rio!"
"Gib!"
"Wow, a shiny Riolu and a Gible, Dad…you really went all out huh," I said while wiping away a tear in my eye.
"Okay let's check out what moves you have," I said while holding out my pokedex to scan them.
"Riolu's moves are Force-Palm, Blaze-kick, Bullet-Punch, Quick-Attack, Swords-Dance, Bulk-Up, Agility and Shadow-Claw," said Dexter.
"Gible's moves are Dragon-Breathe, Dig, Sandstorm, Tackle, Hone-Claws, Metal-Claws, Earthquake and Sand-Tomb," continued Dexter.
"Holy Shit! Man you guys sure are strong," I said as Oscar begins to walk into the room.
Oscar Pov:
"Hey! Zero I got mine….what the fuck?" I asked shockingly after seeing Zero's Pokémon.
"Oh hey dude, you got yours? Show me, show me!" said Zero while shaking me.
"Whoa! Calm down, (Sigh) fine, Fuego come on out!" I said while throwing a pokeball in the air.
"Chang!" "Char!"
"No Fucking Way! A shiny Charmander, why are you so lucky?" asked Zero while pouting.
"Stop acting like a baby, besides, you also have one," I said while pointing at his shiny Riolu.
"Oh yeah….so do you know any of his moves," asked Zero.
"Actually…I don't so let's find out," I said while pulling out my pokedex.
"Charmander's moves are Fire Fang, Sunny Day, Flamethrower, Hone Claws, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Dance, Crunch and Metal Claw." Said Dexter.
"Wow, 8 moves, just like mine," said Zero.
"Cool, so what are their name?" I asked.
"Okay, for Riolu his will be Knuckles while Gible's will be Warpath," said Zero.
"…sure why not," I said.
"Cool, so let's go," said Zero.
I didn't say anything, instead I nodded my head to reply him.
And then we left the lab and walk towards Route 1 where or journey will begin.
