Percy starred at his mother longingly. He watched her pull a tray from the oven as she hummed a small tune like she always did when she cooked. He wanted so badly to run to her as he watched a smile grow wide on her face. But he couldn't. He thought about how it should've been he should've been running as fast as he could into her arms. They would laugh and munch on blue food and avoid any talk of monsters or the end of the world and just be grateful of every second of it. But that could never happen again.

"Percy..." Nico's voice was shaky. Percy blinked not realizing he had zoned out. "...are you alright?" Nico managed. "Ya..." Percy stammered "yeah I'm fine..." He murmured. "Can we just leave this was a bad idea!" His voice came out more forceful this time. "Just one person left to say goodbye to..." Tears filled Percy's eyes and the next word he said came out as a whisper "...Annabeth..." His image flickered. And the two began making their way to camp.
