A/N- I was listening to this song and this story just hit me. I usually don't write stories with lyrics, but it just happened! I hope you enjoy, please let me know what you think!

-Song is Say Something by A Great Big World.

-I don't own Glee!

"Please!" He gasped out, tears falling down his face.

Kurt stared at him, his face also wet from the flood of tears falling down.

Say something, I'm giving up on you.

I'll be the one, if you want me to.

Anywhere, I would've followed you.

Say something, I'm giving up on you.

"Kurt, please!" A sob fell from Blaine's mouth.

"I…" his face crumbled and he looked down when no further words came.

And I am feeling so small.

It was over my head

I know nothing at all.

"You can't do this. You can't!"

"I can't stay."

And I will stumble and fall.

I'm still learning to love

Just starting to crawl.

Blaine took a step forward, his hand reaching out. It dropped when Kurt took a step back towards the door. They had been doing this on and off for weeks. The endless cycle of Kurt threatening to leave and Blaine convincing him not to. There would be no more convincing this time.

"I'll come with you." He pleaded.

"You can't…I don't…"

Say something, I'm giving up on you.

I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you.

Anywhere, I would've followed you.

Say something, I'm giving up on you.

There was a quick intake of breath, "You don't want me to." It wasn't a question.

"I'm sorry, Blaine."

"I can't…I can't be without you."

"I…"

Blaine took another step forward, Kurt made no indication of stepping away from him so Blaine filled in the space and took his hand, squeezing tightly.

"Tell me…Tell me you can be without me." His voice was heavy with emotions; he stared at Kurt's face, though the other man would not meet his eyes, "I need you Kurt, you're my other half, I can't function without you. Can…Can you without me?"

And I will swallow my pride.

You're the one that I love

And I'm saying goodbye.

Kurt sniffled but didn't respond, didn't look up.

"Say something!"

"Yes." It was whispered, but it might as well have been yelled.

Blaine too a step back, Kurt's arm swung when it was released.

"You...no."

"I'm sorry. I never wanted to hurt you."

Say something, I'm giving up on you.

And I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you.

And anywhere, I would have followed you.

Oh-oh-oh-oh say something, I'm giving up on you.

Blaine dropped to his knees with his eyes squeezed shut, his left hand wrapped around his middle trying to hold himself together as sobs wracked his body, his right hand he held over his heart, trying to keep it from shattering so completely.

"Please don't leave me."

When there was no answer he looked up.

The doorway was empty.

The ring he had given Kurt was left on the hallway table.

He was gone.

Say something, I'm giving up on you.

Say something...
