A/N: This is a sort of short fanfiction/dialogue that is basically a conversation that took place sometime during the events of book three. The characters don't have names, as they don't really need them, and are simply referred to as they speak as a number 1 through 4. Read and review...this is a unique sort of story for me...

1: "Are you serious?"

2: "Sirius?"

3: "Yes, he's back!"

4: "It's Black!"

1: "The murderer?"

3: "The traitor!"

2: "Have the dementors got him?"

4: "Hardly."

3: "He's on the run!"

1: "Ridiculous!"

2: "Preposterous!"

1: "What would the Potters think?"

4: "Why does it matter?"

3: "They're dead."

4: "Gone."

2: "And Sirius lives."

1: "So he does."

2: "What will Fudge say?"

3: "Is it even Fudge's business?"

4: "Everything's Fudge's business."

2: "He's the Minister of Magic!"

3: "He's an idiot."

4: "A fool."

1: "So he is."

3: "It was in the Daily Prophet."

1: "This morning's?"

3: "None other."

2: "It wasn't in my copy!"

1: "Are you making this up?"

3: "Nay."

2: "It's a shameful paper, anyhow!"

4: "If you do say so yourself."

2: "And I do."

4: "Of course you do."

1: "Did Skeeter write it?"

3: "Nay."

4: "He'll be back in a day."

1: "Who?"

2: "Where?"

4: "Sirius."

3: "Azkaban."

2: "The villain!"

1: "So he is."

3: "What of the boy?"

4: "What boy?"

3: "The Potter boy."

2: "Harry."

1: "The one with the scar."

3: "Won't he be scared?"

4: "He's a brave child."

2: "In Gryffindor."

1: "Like Lily."

4: "And James."

2: "And Sirius."

3: "Sirius is the exception to the rule."

1: "So he is."

2: "He's dangerous."

3: "Well, obviously."

2: "Are you scared?"

3: "Nay."

2: "Of course you aren't."

4: "I'm going home."

1: "Aye."

4: "I ought to owl the girl."

1: "What girl?"

4: "My daughter."

3: "She's probably upset."

2: "Who isn't?"

3: "I'm not."

1: "Why not?"

4: "Because he never is."

2: "'Bye."

1: "Be safe!"

3: "Look out for passing murderers!"

1: "You're cruel."

4: "'Course he is."

2: "Have a good night."

4: "I'll try."

1: "I'm rather tired, too."

3: "My friends will be worried."

2: "What friends?"

3: "Now who's the cruel one?"

1: "G'bye!"

3: "Adieu!"

2: "May we meet on a better day."

1: "Good luck.'

3: "I won't need it."

1: "So you won't."
