"Hey Cloud! We should enter the quiz and win the gil! We do need it after all."

Cloud glanced briefly at the sign and then back at the flower girl with a raised eyebrow. "You're kidding?" he joked lightly but she was fixing him with that determined stare of hers, the one she took whenever he told her the situation was too dangerous.

"It'll be fun!" she assured him brightly. Cloud scowled.

"I hate fun," he muttered as she grabbed his hand. She laughed at his comment and dragged him towards the counter to claim a Quiz form. The receptionist gave a friendly smile as they approached and took a sheet from the pile beside her.

"Are you entering together or seperately?" she asked, her hand hovering above the pile.

"Together," Aeris said before Cloud could protest that he didn't really want to enter at all. He knew they needed the money but the truth was, he didn't know very much general knowledge and he didn't want to embarrass himself in front of Aeris.

He watched the woman hand Aeris the sheet and wish them good luck before they turned and grabbed a table by the door. Aeris scanned the paper, immediately filling in the answers that she knew for sure. Cloud watched her silently, hoping she could answer most of them herself. As he watched, he was impressed by just how much knowledge she had for growing up in the slums. By the time she had put her pen down, there were only two blank answers out of twenty.

"What do you think?" she asked, turning to Cloud. He shrugged, not even looking at the paper. Aeris didn't appear to be angry with his attitude at all. She had been expecting it anyway. She simply picked up her pen and scribbled down some intelligent guesses before turning back to Cloud. She smirked as she thought of a way to get his attention.

"Oh there's another question on the back," she said, glancing at the blonde from the corner of her eye as she turned to stare at the blank side of the sheet. Cloud grunted in reply, folding his arms. Aeris had to work hard to control her laughter as she pretended to read. "When are we going to go on our date?"

Cloud sat bolt upright and blinked stupidly for a moment. Aeris burst into a fit of giggles, clutching her stomach for support. His eyes fell upon the sheet in her hand and he made a grab for it.

"Let me see that!" he demanded. She didn't protest. She was too busy laughing to have done anything anyway. Cloud frowned and Aeris attempted to get her giggling under control.

"Sorry," she said, still smiling. "The look on your face!" She stopped laughing when Cloud folded his arms and glared at her. She rolled her eyes playfully as she took the paper from him and went to the desk to hand it in. When she returned, Cloud was still sitting in a mood. She sighed, the first signs of annoyance begining to show.

"Cloud, I was only joking!" she said with exasperation. Cloud nodded.

"I was just thinking," he replied. "Tuesday."

"Tuesday?" she repeated in confusion. He nodded.

"Our date," he elaborated, watching her closely as her cheeks burned a bright crimson. "But if you were only joking," he continued, standing up and waving his hand in explanation. She shook her head.

"No, Tuesday is fine," she answered.

"But no quizzes!" he said threateningly. She giggled.

"No quizzes," she agreed.
