Takes place during R season, when Mamoru goes baddie-- Endymion style. (Eh, ok, I'd written this poem sometime before, and it seemed to relate to when Usagi was in disbelief.. I suppose it would count as a first fanfic, ne?.. So please, no flames! x.x;)

A Love Ever-Waiting...

So long that you
Have been gone from my arms
So long, too,
Since I have felt your touch..

Tis a such a longing,
Distant, though I wish to be near.
All the while, your voice is calling,
and I can only hope it is not what I fear..

Yet in my heart I firmly believe,
That you will return, though
Sometimes my mind can deceive..
Where have you been..

The bond between us,
It shall never be severed,
To see you is a must,
Gone from me, never..

As the days grow older,
The love grows stronger.
How much I wish to lay my head upon thy shoulder,
But you are not here..

I want you to be with me.
Many times in my dreams,
Tis only your face that I see.
Where have you gone..

Please, beloved, do return,
Do you not see
The love which burns
Deep within..

The soft, gentle touch of your lips,
It seems nearly forgotten.
Your firm hands upon my hips,
Where have they fallen..?

We will be together again,
And the world shall see..
But until then,
I shall wait until the day you return to me..
