A tall, slender woman lay upon the alabaster, sun bleached sand. Her body lie limp, her jumpsuit drenched, and torn, clinging to her body as the waves rolled beneath her. Cascading around her pale face were waist length, fiery red locks, spread around her like a fire, burning brightly. Across the deserted beach were scattered hunks of twisted, burning dura steel, along with various other parts of what had been her ship, the Jade's Fire. The sun that had been high above the brightened horizon when the ship had begun to spin out of control, and crashed, was now lowering, sinking below the waves, sending waves of bright color out, like it did at the end of everyday, and the beginning of another. Slowly, the emerald waves began to retreat as the low tide set in, dragging them back into the massive sea. As the remainder of the sun slipped away, the woman's hand began to twitch, her fingers flexing for a moment, before curling into a fist, her razor like nails digging into her bare palms. Finally, her tightly closed eyelids began to flutter, arched eyebrows knitting together as her rouge tinted lips pursed, opening slightly. At last, a pair of jade green colored eyes were revealed, glistening beneath the tapestry of night, reflecting the stars that pierced the coal black sky. Slowly, she pushed her body into a sitting position, a groan escaping her lips from the effort. She was fatigued beyond belief, her body drained from any trace of the energy she had possessed as she flew through the stars the past night. Her mind was buzzing, her heart pounding within her chest at a quickening rhythm. All of her memories were out of mind for now, pain coursing through her veins like ice. The silvery moonlight glinted off of her pale skin, giving her an almost angelic glow, despite her current state of being. She was Mara Jade… and now she was lost without any clue of where she was, hopelessly stranded on an unknown planet with no means of escape.
