I Do Not Own Harry Potter or Twilight

Victoria looked at her reflection.
Even after almost six years as a vampire, she still wasn't used to her red eyes. Every time she looked at her reflection, whether it be in a mirror, window, or water, she expected to see the emerald green eyes she used to have, the eyes she had inherited from her mother.
Not that she minded being a vampire. Her newborn year had done wonders for stripping her of her previous morals. In fact now, she found that she quite enjoyed killing, feeding, and hunting.
There was something so…exciting about the scent of fear as her teeth dug into some poor human's throat. The sex she and James usually engaged in, especially after an entertaining hunt, was also incredibly mind-blowing.
And while she did occasionally miss her human life, her friends, and her magic (having lost it when she was turned) she wouldn't trade James for anything. After her turning and realization of their mating bond, she couldn't blame James for turning her. She couldn't imagine life without him. In fact she had an eternity with him.
She did sometimes wish that she had her power of evasion back when she was human though. It would have been incredibly useful during her Hogwarts years, not to mention her year on the run. And while she did get out of some extraordinary situations, it was rarely unscathed.
She sighed as she felt her mate's hand caress and massage her neck. "What are you thinking about?" he asked.
Victoria sighed as she closed her eyes, enjoying her mate's touch. "Irony," she answered. "I was always told how similar my mother and I were," she smirked. "We even fell in love with men that shared the same name. Despite all these similarities, I still miss the eyes we shared."
James leaned down to place a kiss at the junction between her neck and shoulder. "You could always steal some contacts," he said, before lightly nipping at her throat.
Victoria moaned, before spinning around and shoving James against a nearby tree, kissing him passionately. "It wouldn't be the same," she whispered. She fell to her knees in front of her mate. "But I wouldn't trade what we have now to get them back," she assured him, unbuckling his belt.

Laurent looked up from the book he was reading (something he'd stolen from their last victim), smirking as she and James came into view. "I see you two managed to keep your clothes intact this time, mostly anyways," he joked as he noticed James shirtless state.
"I'll just have to pick something up from our next victim, provided we don't ruin them," he said.
Victoria leaned against her mate as he put his arm around her. "So where to next?"
James shrugged. "I've heard rumors about a coven near here," he said. "If what I hear is right, they feed off of animals."
Victoria winkled her nose. "Disgusting."
James chuckled, leaning down to kiss her forehead. "It's probably just a silly rumor. I can't imagine anyone wanting to do something so disgusting. But would certainly be interesting to see if it's true."
And as the coven of three set off, towards a small town called Forks, Victoria Potter couldn't imagine a better life.
Even if it was a contradiction of her human one.
