Ok, so I've read some Fullmetal, but not necessarily all of it, so point out my mistakes. By the way, this chapter takes place around the time when Al and Ed tried to transmute their mother.
A young girl stood on a street corner, her scarlet cape draped around her shoulders, protecting her from the cold chill in the air. Under the faint light of the dying street lamp beside her, one could see her long, wavy dark brown hair. The rest of her face was hidden in the darkness, except for her mouth, with its pale pink lips. She was about nine years old, looking young and innocent standing all alone on Central's streets.
She stepped off into the streets. Her sure footsteps echoed throughout the area, and water splashed up around her ankles, wetting her long brown socks under her skirt.
Alone, she stepped into an alleyway, and sunk to the ground against a wall. She fumbled in her pocket, and withdrew a tiny wooden bird. She turned it over to the bottom, and carved into it was the word "Volven" The girl smiled and traced the letters with her finger.
A figure stepped out of the dark end of the alleyway. She turned towards it, and stood up. "Coming, Miranda?" a deep male voice called. She nodded, pocketed the wooden bird, and walked towards him. She took his hand, and they walked out into the darkness.
Sorry it's so short, but that's as far as I'm going for this chapter. Bye!
