Peppermint
It was peppermint. The familiar sharpness of the spice hitting his tongue shocked his senses. The flavor was too common in Munchkin Land that had he not known it his exile would've followed, but to find this flavor here-at Shiz. He didn't mind. The other flavors came in hints and burst, but the peppermint was strong and powerful. The tang of it was almost overpowering, and Boq was thoroughly enjoying it.
Hands resting on the back of the chair, he tilted forward slightly. He let his tongue savor the source of the mint, and decided that this was pleasure; it was, in fact, a very pleasing experience. Finding it here was an extremely pleasantsurpriseThe word pleasant took on a whole new meaning to him now.
Then again, this was technically from home, and while he had never found particular bliss from this flavor before, it was much more enjoyable now.
Thinking about it, (Although, thinking wasn't what he was interested in at the moment.) it shouldn't have been hard to guess. She ate peppermints day in and out, drank her tea with the flavor added in, and sprinkled bits in coffee whenever she drank the dark liquid.
There was no reason as to why it shouldn't have been the dominating taste. He slid his tongue across her lips again.
There was no reason as to why Nessarose Thropp should not have tasted like peppermint.
