a/n: Okay, everybody. I guess I've wanted to post this up for awhile, but I finally found the time and opportunity right here. Being that I write raps as well as fanfics (didn't know that about me, didja peeps?), I had to create some rhymes about Eddie Guerrero eventually after I heard he made his ascension to live in the sky. I actually wrote this a long while back, with some changes made, but here's to me posting it. (fans chanting in the background: "EDDIE! EDDIE!"
The heelish version of his entrance music, the one he used in the 2005 feud with Rey Mysterio, is the song I usedas thebeat for this.
Viva la raza! Can you feel the heat?
One last time, let's say hello to Eddie
He died in his prime, before the world was ready
Never cared if you weren't likeable on TV
He was cool with everybody, you could see it in his veins
He frog splashed drug troubles to get back his fam and his smile
I guarantee that he's the first heaven has seen with his style
To him, life on the road was a feast at high speed
Always helped his homeys in deed without greed
It's still sinkin' in, when he was "filthy", we still couldn't hate him
Rey won in his honor to ensure that he's celebrated
Whenever there was darkness, there was light he'd find
He touched every heart, every soul and mind
That he ever came in contact with, including mine
Even though I never met him in person, in the ring
I saw a man who wanted to treat us all like kings
Lyin', cheatin', and stealin' like nobody else ever could
With that charismatic flavor which everyone would
Enjoy greatly; even though Christian's got the name
The C² belongs to EG, that's why this flame
Continues to burn, cause Eddie was the best in the game
He performed for us, he loved his craft beyond anything
Other than his familia, there were so many things
He coulda been doin' comin' out with them low riders
Even so, he always kept his faith bright
His true Mamacita wasn't Joanie Laurer at all
It was Vickie and the daughters, for whom he would take a fall
Chavo switched back from the Kerwin White gimmick to stay
Representin' the family after Eddie went away
Shows how much we all miss him each and every day
Rey, Dave, Dean, Chris, and everyone else
He often called his 'amigos', and all the others as well
Can all say that they'll see him in heaven
I'm confident that he's over us 24/7
Whether he's watchin' along with God or wrestlin' wit' his pop
And all the other ring dwellers up high, we won't stop
Cause he made it to da top 'fore he could make it to da top
He should be Heavyweight Champion, but his time was cut short
By drugs which the past four years saw him abort
We honored him for a week in which every man was a sport
With the fact that I'm down in south FLA
The Miami Heat are my team in the NBA
But this year, cheerin' for them has more value than before
Cause LatinoHEAT is no longer with us anymore
He's up within the boundaries of the pearly gates
Talks to me once in awhile from the sky, a great
Not to be forgotten, he can't descend to speak here
But to his people; he wishes you success thru da rest of your years
R.I.P, Eddie Guerrero! 1967-2005-4ever!
