Glass Slipper

I don't have a story filled with sass

Instead I will tell you of a shoe made of glass

How can a shoe be interesting?

It boggles the mind

Maybe it's the way the shoe was shined

Delicate and Fragile are the description of this thing

Why if this were a cartoon the sparkle would say ping

But only one foot can fit this treasure

And if you're that foot your reward is beyond measure

The slipper was given by a Fairy Godmother you see

Given to a girl her friends called Cinderelly

That little thing fit like a glove

As for her stepsisters?

Well they had to shove

That little shoe got her married to a prince

This I can tell you made her stepmother wince

Now I take my leave and do up my coat zipper

But remember the story I told you

About a little glass slipper
