No one knew what Kurt did at night. No one knew what he was. No one questioned why he kept to himself. No one knew why he did any of these things.

Kurt wants to keep it that way.

He stood there, on top of a building searching for his next suspects. He needed to do this. He needed to avenge his mother's death.

The two people who knew about this were his best friends Quinn and Santana. Though they don't agree to it, they promised to keep it between them. So far they've kept that promise.

Though Kurt was only sixteen, he knew ways to get people to comply with his wishes. He's trained for so long for this moment. He's getting closer and closer.

There you are.

He jumped from building to building, skillfully going unnoticed. He was going to find his mother's killer and he was going to avenge her. Tonight.

"Paul I need you to do some testing on the last experiment. We need to make sure that everything is perfect. Paul?"

"Did you hear that?"

The scientist rolled his eyes. They didn't have time for games, Rodriquez wants this serum to be released by tomorrow morning. If they don't get it done, they'll be done.

"Paul we don't have time for this!"

"Les just listen. I knew I heard something. I-"

Suddenly the lights were out. Paul went to go flick the light switch, but it didn't work.

"I didn't expect a power outage. Did you Paul?"

Les was met with silence. Then suddenly a piercing scream was heard from the the other room.

"Paul!"

"Paul's not here. Sadly he had to leave. Permanently." A deep voice claimed.

Les tried to reach for the panic alarm, but a knife trapped his sleeve to the wall.

"Why, you're not thinking of pressing that button are you? That would be quite foolish of you."

"What do you want from me?"

"Where is Marco Venn Dez Rodriquez?"

"I-I don't know."

A knife was know pressed against his throat while a another was plunged into his leg. Les groaned in pain, frightened that if he screamed the stranger would kill him whether he got his answers or not.

"Lying isn't the best option as you realize, now is it? I will ask you one last time. Where is Rodriquez?"

"Threatening people are we? What a waste of time, isn't it Arsenal?" A voice called from behind the stranger.

"It's not a waste of time. It's quite fun, I think of it as a little game.

Don't you Wonder Boy?" Arsenal quipped back, keeping his eyes on the person that was pressed against the wall.

"It's Shadow. Let him go."

"Fine, I'll let him go."

Arsenal snapped his neck, but it didn't kill him. He made sure it didn't. The pressure simply made him faint, but no one else has to know.

"There happy."

"When I said let him go, I meant alive." Shadow said clutching his fist.

"What's the fun in that?"

Shadow went to throw a punch, but Arsenal simply blocked it. He grabbed his wrist while the Shadow grabbed his upper arm.

"You don't have to do this Kurt."

"Yes. Yes I do, Sebastian."

Kurt kicked Sebastian's temple and twisted his arm. He jumped from wall to wall to reach the window.

"Goodbye my love." He whispered before disappearing into the night.

There's always tomorrow. Tomorrow will be the day he finds his mother's killer. He's sure of it.
