Disclaimer: No, I still don't own these characters, but some day I plan on stealing them from Stephanie Meyer...
Joyful and carefree. That was the look on her mother's face. Oh how much she missed her. It had been exactly 50 years this day that she had passed away, old, wrinkled and frail. She had been she strong, so powerful, yet somehow the old age got to her.
Bella still couldn't get over the fact that she was gone. Sometimes she would go to call her, and then realised she couldn't do that when the operators voice came on. How much she hated that voice, mechanical, and nasal. Stopping her from doing the thing she wanted most in the world.
She carefully placed the picture back in the album and closed its dusty cover. She felt lost. Every time she would come here to clean things out, she always ended up finding some old memory, long forgotten. It was too much to handle, having her life boxed away. Someday she would have to clean out this storage room, but once again, today was not going to be that day. The thought of having to give away her heart was too much to bear.
A cold arm wrapped around her shoulders, gently guiding her to the exit. A smooth finger wiping away her tears, holding her to him. She had him now, he was her life, her one and only. The one that could fill the space in her heart only her mother had ever had. He was her Edward.
Please R&R!!!
