Disclaimer: I do not own the Outsiders.
Note: Well...I don't know why, but I'm gunna make these little shorts into a series. Every story's title will have the name of a person and it will have something to do with Darry and Ponyboy, usually Sodapop with be there too. Occasionally other gang members. So...Julie Andrews was number one, Mark Twain was number two, and this one is number three.

When Ponyboy had come home, Darrel was in the kitchen, starting supper. He went over to help him.
"Hey..Darry?"
"Yeah?"
Ponyboy shifted his weight from one foot to another, " I was wonderin..."
"Yeah..."
"Where..." He chewed slightly on his bottom lip, " Where'd be a good place to take a girl a date?"
"You gotta date, huh Pone?"
Blushing slightly, Ponyboy nodded," Yeah."
"Well...what's she like?"
"Uh...well, she's...middle-class...real pretty..."
Darry stopped him, " Do you see this going into a long term relation ship?"
Ponyboy thought for a moment, then shook his head, "No...not really..."
"Take her to see Dracula."
"Dracula?"
"Yeah, and I don't mean that one with Christopher Lee. I mean the original. 1931 with Bela Lugosi. It plays every Friday night at that old movie theater near the library."
"Darry, I seen that movie at least a dozen times. It don't really seem like a date movie to me."
"Pony, Pony, Pony.." Darry shook his head, " You went to see it alone."
"I don't get it..."
Darry turned to face his younger brother, and put a hand on his shoulder, " Ponyboy, take my word for it. If you wanna make out with this girl, take her to see 'Dracula'." With that, he turned his attention back to the stove.
"Seriously? That's it?" Pony asked.
"Yup."
Just then, Sodapop walked into the kitchen, so Ponyboy asked, " Hey Soda?"
"Yeah?"
"Where do you take a girl out for a first date?"
"Dracula. Man, if you get lucky enough, the girl'll put out."
Ponyboy looked over at Darry.
"You ain't gunna take it that far, ya hear?"
