Today was one of those days where they could just sit around and rest, have a drink or two. And Hunter could hang out with Sam. It's true that she has a tiny crush on him, but she would never admit it. Until late in the afternoon when she was trying so hard to distract herself and out in the back of Bobby's house, tossing a ball and trying to hit it with the bat.
If she would hit it, the ball would crash into one of the junk cars and dent the door. If she missed -which was most of the time- than she would just try again. After missing for the millionth time, she growled in frustration and smashed another's car's rear view mirror with a strong swing.
"Hey." Sam's voice drifted into her ears and forced her to turn around. He stood near another wrecked up car, dressed in his normal jeans, a grey shirt and a flannel, a can of beer in his hand.
"Hey Sammy." She sighed as she leaned onto the car she had attacked moments before. She had dropped the bat after knocking off the car's headlight. Sam walked over and picked it up in his free hand.
"What are you doing out here Hunter?" He asked. She breathe heavily, not helping her already crappy lungs.
"Trying not to pick it up again." She said. Sam knew what she meant. Only two months go she had given up smoking. She had already been smoking for three years, and it wasn't helping with hunts. "It's hard Sam. I thought it helped. It's hard to quit." She said as she shook her head. She looked at him and he had a small frown on his face.
She missed the taste. But Sam would frown every time she even mentioned starting again. And she knew it was for a good reason.
"I know. It's bad for me. But it's so... Fucking addictive!" She snapped before kicking the car a few times. She then leaned on it again. "It's just trying to distract myself." She muttered. She felt a hand on her shoulder and she turned around. Sam stood there and held the bat up. He took her hand and put it on the wooden shaft. She raised an eyebrow and held it as he picked up the base ball.
He moved her to the middle of the small patch of dirt and some weeds. Her eyes widen as he lined his arms up with hers (No matter how much taller he was than Hunter) and he removed one hand to toss the ball up. She was still in shock when the ball came down and he moved their arms with a swing. The bat connected with the ball and it let out a loud 'whack' before a huge 'clunk' when the ball hit the car.
She let out a semi-nervous laugh and he smiled.
"Thank you Mr. Moose." She said. He let her go and she dropped the bat. She ran over to pick up the ball and walked back. Her foot caught in the bat and she fell forward. When Sam landed on his back, she landed on top of his and found their faces only inches apart.
She stared down at him with her big grey eyes. He brushed his hand against her cheek and it turned a light shade of pink. He put his hand on the back of her head and lightly pushed it forward, connecting their lips softly. She placed one hand on his shoulder and put the other one in his hair, tangling her fingers in the brown locks.
He wrapped his other arm around her waist and held her close as they kissed. When they pulled away, both smiling like idiots he asked.
"Still needing a smoke?"
"No. I got something new that I'm addicted to."
Hope you liked this one! I loved writing it! So Hunter is my newest Original Character. She is a hunter like Sam and Dean. She's my love interest for Sammy A.K.A. Mr. Moose. And this is my first story with her. I'm working on another story with Miss. Nathan. But that is still not done yet! Anyways please drop in a review, I do love those and I bid you, goodbye
