Lizzy POV
"Mommy! Tell Cole to leave me alone!"
"I'm not doing anything, Josie!"
That was my alarm clock. My two baby girls screaming at me. Joslynn Abigail, six, and Payton Nicole, six. And, yep, you guessed it. Twins. Oblivious to the half-blood world.
Cole has brown hair and blue eyes. She has tan skin and is Daddy's little firecracker. Despite being a "ball of fire" she is actually pretty quiet. If you didn't know that her parents were half-bloods, you would think she was one. She has ADHD and Dislexia like most half-bloods would. She can read Ancient Greek and, to her teacher's supprise, can speak it fluently. Well, that's what me and Travis get for talking to them in Ancient Greek. We figured, since Cole acted like that so would Josie. I mean they are identical twins right? Let me tell you it was a rude awakening.
Josie is four feet of pure hate. Well, that's what Uncle Percy called her after sitting for us one night. Me, being the horrible judge of character I am, refused to think my blonde haired, blue eyed, little angel had done what he said(which was cuss him out in Ancient Greek[A/N: dang i say ancient greek ALOT!], broke three vases, and destroyed the house). So Travis had him babysit again but, put cameras in the entire house. Turns out Uncle Percy wasn't lying. And at school we found out that she gets into fights(usually winning), rips homework, and talks back to teachers. What I don't get is that she is a perfect little doll at home. She never talks back, always does her chores, and brushes her teath and goes to bed exactly when we tell her to. When Travis asked her why one night, she simply said,"Well, I don't like school or the people there. My teachers are mean and, the kids made fun of me. So I showed them not to mess with me." So, truth be told, school made her do it.
Anyways, back to this morning(when my dolls were screaming at me), I did my usual ruiteen(forget grammer!) and, pried Cole off of Josie. Then, Josie sticks her tongue out, Cole tattles blah blah blah. Man, its more like a habbit now. And getting them ready isn't any easier. But now, since Cole and Josie pick out their own clothes, I just fix them breakfast and fix their hair. That's when the screaming starts.
"Mommy, I want my hair in pigtails."
"No, I wanted my hair in pigtails today Mommy!"
"You had them in pigtails yesterday!"
"Did not!"
"Did too!"
"*both scream* Daddy!"
Which is Travis' alarm clock. The anual, never late, screaming of Daddy to end the pigtail argument. Hades forbid they both wear pigtails. Twins. I'll never figure them out.
"Daddy, is it fair that Josie gets to wear piggytails two days in a row?"
"Hey! That's not fair! You can't use puppy dog eyes!"
"Who says?"
"I do!"
"So?
"I'll show you so!"
Then, starts the fight. Travis refuses to stop them. He says,"It show us who needs more work in fighting." Yes, but he isn't the one who has to clean the cuts and bruises. Once its over, usually(this one you won't be able to believe) Cole wins. It's always ended by her grabbing Josie's hair and putting her in a headlock. My children. I thought girls were loving and nurturing(spelling?), not evil and viscious. The girls. My girls. When everything is officially over, I make them apologize to each other and hug. Then, every morning they go about their business. But this morning, they just stood their a second. Then, most shocking of all, Josie says," I love Cole." And even more shocking, Cole says back,"I love you too, Josie." The twins. The girls. My girls.
