As Alex and Harper are travelling with the Doctor, the Silence are on Earth and making moves against him again, but as soldiers not leaders. This hopefully will set up a story arc that will extend throughout DOWP season 2 and hopefully season 3. This also sets up Alex as being something other than an average wizard or human as she can do something no one else can.
Silence in the Sub Station
Justin Russo locked the doors to the sub station after a long day. It had been a couple weeks since Alex and Harper decided to travel with the Doctor and see the wonders of the universe. He had his chance to go and travel, but turned it down. In the following days, he wondered if that was the right decision. He would never know.
He turned around and gasped. He was looking at a seven foot tall monster standing in front of the bar. It wore a black suit over its grey skin. The thing's head was huge and had two craters where eyes should and no mouth. Justin couldn't take his eyes off of it.
"Justin Russo," the thing said in a creepy, raspy voice even though it had no mouth.
"What the hell?" was all Justin could get out. His fear slipped into false bravado, "What do you want?"
"We need you to do something for us?" it asked.
"What?"
"Kill someone. We would do it but we can't get near her. Her presence harms us."
Justin tried to remain calm but chuckling, "And you came to me why?"
"We want you to kill your sister."
Justin shrugged, "I'll do it. Wait. What? What's going on!"
"You are going to kill your sister when you see her. Alex Russo has to die."
Justin tried to fight all the urgings inside of him, "Okay. NO! Why?"
"She remembers and harms us by just being in the same room. A threat like that has to be removed along with her love, but there are plans in motion to kill the Doctor. We just need you to kill Alex."
"Why me?" asked Justin as he succumbed to the creature's influence, "I'll do it but why me?"
"She trusts you more than anyone but the Doctor. Who better? Do it and our boss will be pleased?"
"Your boss?" asked Justin.
"He created us. We have to do his bidding," it told Justin, "As you will do our bidding."
Justin heard someone come down the spiral staircase from upstairs. He glanced over to see his mother come down. She asked, "Justin, what's going on down here? We heard yelling."
Justin looked at his Theresa with confusion written all over his face. He said, "There was no yelling. I just locked up and was heading upstairs."
"Okay," Theresa said, "Just hurry up. It's kind of creepy down here."
Theresa went back upstairs and Justin looked around the room and couldn't figure out why he stopped before going upstairs. He shrugged and went up the stairs.
The creature watched as Justin wen up. Another one walked up next to it. The second one said, "He forgets. Why can't his sister?"
"I don't know, but we did our part. He'll kill Alex, and our boss will kill the Doctor."
The two of them stood in the restaurant and just stood there as the time past. No one would know they were there and if they saw them, the humans would forget. All humans forget the Silence. All but one human.
